The colourful, exotic and romantic state, Rajasthan, lies in the north-western part of India. It is the most scenic and historical state of India. It is said that it is India’s cultural capital. Rajasthan offers the rider a display of a unique Indian heritage with its rich culture, soothing music, great food and traditions.

On this tour, you discover Rajasthan through its historic cities, remote villages, hills and deserts. This tour will help you to understand the depth of India’s past. The cities visited include Udaipur, Jodhpur, Jaipur, Bundi and Mandawa, which offer different views of Rajasthan. The bonus being Pushkar is a must for the spiritually curious.

You will also meet the local people whilst strolling through markets and other places along this tour.

Rajasthan Highlights Ride Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrive Delhi

Arrive at Delhi’s airport; our local representative will personally meet you outside the exit gate of the arrival terminal. To help you recognise them, they will be holding a placard of your name. The representative will transfer you to your hotel in preparation for your tour the next day.

Day 02: Delhi to Mandawa – Driven 130 kilometres, then ride 140 kilometres. (Breakfast)

After breakfast, you travel 130 kilometres by car to our motorcycle tour starting point. Here you will be united with your Royal Enfield 500cc motorcycle, and the road captain will brief you on the rules of driving in India and how to operate your motorcycle.

From here you ride on country roads and see local markets. Mandawa is world-famous for its heritage Havelis and colourful fresco art. Mandawa was originally a trading outpost for the ancient caravan routes that stopped here from China and the Middle East. On your arrival in Mandawa, you check in to our hotel. Later you will have a walking tour through the colourful market and visit other Havelis.

Having entered Rajasthan, we travel to the Royal Enfield collection point.

Day 3: Mandawa to Pushkar – Ride 220 kilometres / 5 hours riding. (Breakfast)

After breakfast, you start your ride to Pushkar. Pushkar is a small town on the edge of the desert with a quiet lake, small hills, and several temples. The Brahmaji Temple is an important place of pilgrimage for Hindus, as it is the only Brahma temple in India. On arrival, check into the hotel & relax. Later, you’ll visit the Brahmaji Temple and the sacred lake. In the evening, you’ll attend a prayer ceremony in Varah Ghat, where you can hear the sound of the bells coming from the many temples all around you as the sun goes down.

Day 4: Pushkar to Jodhpur – Ride 220 kilometres / 5 hours riding (Breakfast)

After breakfast, you ride to Jodhpur. Jodhpur, the second-largest city in Rajasthan, is popularly known as the Blue City. The name is befitting as most of the architecture – forts, palaces, temples, Havelis and even houses built in vivid shades of blue. On arrival, you check into the hotel. Later, enjoy visiting the majestic Mehrangarh Fort (Majestic Fort) in Jodhpur, one of India’s most impressive and formidable structures.

The view of the city from the top of the Fort is just incredible; from here, the whole city looks Blue. Nearby, visit Jaswant Thada (also known as Taj Mahal of Jodhpur), a cluster of royal cenotaphs in white marble built in 1899 AD. It is an architectural landmark of Jodhpur.

Day 5 : Jodhpur to Udaipur – Ride 250 Kilometres / 6 hours riding (Breakfast)

After breakfast, get ready for a panoramic Motorcycle Ride toward Udaipur. Affectionately known as ‘The Venice of the East’, magical Udaipur is a city of romance with beautiful lakes and fantastical palaces all bordered by lush, forested hills. Today you ride on panoramic zigzag roads and countryside roads; en route, experience a must-visit and a fascinating place for every motorcyclist – the Motorcycle Temple, where Motorcycle Rider is God & being worshipped).

On arrival at Udaipur, you check in to the hotel. Afterwards, explore the massive City Palace, lining the eastern shore of Lake Pichola, with its balconies gazing out towards the stunning Lake Palace seemingly floating on the waters across the shimmering lake. Your next stop is the celebrated Jagdish temple, the largest in the city and whose 79 foot sculpted spire dominates the skyline. Here you can appreciate the three-storied temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the preserver of the Universe.

This evening, you will take a cruise on Fateh Sagar Lake. This artificial lake was built in 1678 by Maharana Jai Singh. After heavy rains destroyed it, the reconstruction took place under the guidance of Maharana Fateh Singh. After your cruise, you return to your hotel.

Day 6: Udaipur to Bundi – Ride 280 Kilometres / 6 to 7 hours riding (Breakfast)

After a leisurely breakfast, you ride to one of Rajasthan’s hidden gems, the captivating Bundi, a town dominated by its massive fort. It is a delightful town with a rustic setting that stands on the foothills of the Aravali Mountains. Bundi is famous for its palaces and the beautifully decorated stepwells. The stepwells used in the 15th and 18th centuries to collect water during the monsoon season. On arrival, you check into your hotel. In the late afternoon, you visit the Bundi Fort, arguably one of the most beautiful palaces in India, home to outstanding miniature paintings portraying the history of the palace and its royal family. The fort is set high on a hill overlooking Bundi and its Krishna blue stonewashed houses.

Day 7: Bundi to Jaipur – Ride 220 kilometres / 5 hours riding (Breakfast)

You are on your last day riding the Royal Enfield, for, after breakfast, you ride to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Jaipur is often called the Pink City for the pink paint covering the old city’s walls. In Rajput tradition, pink symbolises hospitality. On reaching Jaipur, you have finished your motorcycle riding, and it is time to bid farewell to crew members. Later you check into your hotel. After lunch, you have a guided visit to the City Palace, which showcases a beautiful Rajputi architecture & Jantar Mantar, a solar observatory filled with astronomical instruments. In the evening, you return to your hotel.

Day 8: Jaipur to Delhi – Driven 260 Kilometres / 5 to 6 hours drive. (Breakfast).

After breakfast, you will have a guided tour of Jaipur with a stop at the Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds) to take a few photos of its unique facade and later explore the 16th century’s Amber Fort with an elephant ride. Later drives continue to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, straight transfer to the airport for your flight.

  • Rider Licence: Full and valid for a 500cc motorcycle.
  • Travel Insurance: Must cover riding a 500cc motorcycle.
  • Sunscreen/sunblock UV 30/40.
