CAPE TOWN ROUND TRIP

11 Days

Time out to take in the scenery

The most popular tour in the South Africa range is offered over 9 and 12 Days ~ When enquiring, tell us which you’d prefer….

The majestic beauty of ‘The Fairest Cape’ is showcased on this tour. Your first full riding day will be spent exploring the Cape Peninsula after which the ride heads down to ‘Shark Alley’ where you will be treated to Shark cage diving. The ride then heads to Cape Agulhas, the Southern Most Point in Africa. After which the scenery changes dramatically as we head into the Little Karoo along Route 62, dry arid and home to thousands of rustic plant species; the area is also home to thousands of Ostrich. A night will be spent in a tented game lodge, a lovely setting under the stars at night with an afternoon game drive and more. Heading over the imposing Swartberg Pass, we ride into the Great Karoo with an overnight showcasing of authentic Karoo hospitality before venturing through the breathtaking Meiringspoort Pass.

A rest day is spent in Storms River on the Garden Route where the Tsitsikamma Forests and Storm River Mouth take centre stage. You are free to do a ‘canopy tour’ through the ancient Tsitsikamma Forest, a laidback Segway cruise through the same forest or simply ‘chill’. After the rest day, we’ll enjoy a ride along the ‘Garden Route and enjoy more amazing mountain passes as we head back into the Little Karoo and a night on Route 62. Our final full riding day will take us over several more mountain passes and up to the ‘Swartland’ which will offer up lovely rolling hills and the sleepy village of Riebeeck Kasteel. Finally back to Cape Town.

A day or two extra spent exploring the city and surrounds (Table Mountain, white sand beaches, wine farm tours etc.) can be incorporated should you have the time.
