Due to Australians being unable to legally ride or drive in Vietnam we cannot offer any tours.
Australians can’t legally ride a motorcycle in Vietnam with an International Driving Permit (IDP) because Australia is a signatory to the 1949 IDP Convention. Instead, they must get a Vietnamese driver’s license. This can be done in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City with the required paperwork and time. To get a temporary Vietnamese license, Australians must have a valid Vietnamese residence permit that’s at least three months in length.
If you illegally ride in Vietnam, the local police may fine you and you invalidate your travel insurance.
We will advise once we have a solution to this problem.
