Day 1: Friday 20 August 2027 – Calgary, AB

Included Meals: Dinner

If flying to Calgary, take the complimentary shuttle from the airport to our hotel. Walk over and pick up your bike rental (if applicable) at Calgary Harley-Davidson, located across the street from the hotel; those renting from Canadian Motorcycle Rentals will be transferred to pick up from Canadian Motorcycle Rentals.

This evening, we will have a meet-and-greet at the hotel, including a Welcome Dinner, Orientation and Briefing hosted by Freedom Biker Tours.

Day 2: Saturday 21 August 2027 – Cowboy Trail, Longview, Highwood Pass and Banff

Riding: 301 Kilometres | 187 Miles

Kickstands up at 9:30 am. It’s time to get outta’ Dodge and hit the road. We’ll mount up and head southwest on the Cowboy Trail, eventually cruising south to Longview, where we will have a stop n’ stretch and a snack at the biker-friendly Twin Cities Saloon. It gets really interesting from here as we ride northwest into the Rocky Mountains and Kananaskis Country. We’ll cruise the Highwood Pass, the highest paved road in Canada, which is closed half the year. We’ll enjoy the majestic mountain scenery and hopefully see some wildlife, preferably on the roadside. We’ll eventually pop out onto the Trans Canada Highway as we ride a short distance into world-famous Banff, where we relax and enjoy for the next 2 nights.

Day 3: Sunday 22 August 2027 – Banff Gondola and a day in Banff

Riding: A Day Off the Bikes

Included Meals: N/A

Breakfast is on your own this morning. We’ll meet in the hotel lobby at a specified time, and we’ll head over to the launching area of the Banff Gondola. We’ll board the Gondola cars and ride high up to the summit of Sulphur Mountain, where we’ll be amazed at the views of six surrounding mountain ranges, the Bow Valley, and the Town of Banff. Enjoy the Banff Interpretive Centre and learn about the history and other interesting facts of Canada’s first National Park. There is a Starbucks at the Gondola base and a café at the top for those who didn’t have anything at the hotel. After our mountaintop experience, we’ll head back down to the Gondola base and back to the Town of Banff for a leisurely time around the area and a photo op at the Banff sign. Afterwards, the rest of the day is yours to wander the town of Banff and relax. Dinner is on our own tonight with plenty of options to choose from.

Day 4: Monday 23 August 2027 – Bow Valley Parkway, Icefields Parkway and Jasper

Riding: 293 Kilometres | 182 Miles

Kickstands up at 08:30. Today we ride along the scenic Bow Valley Parkway, enjoying the majestic scenery as we eventually connect with the Icefields Parkway heading north towards Jasper. Along the way, we’ll stop for a photo op at Bow Lake and then continue riding north along the parkway. We’ll stop at the Columbia Icefields and enjoy the Icefields Explorer Adventure; a unique and iconic experience as we step out onto the Athabasca Glacier. You may want to have a Glacial Facial. Our ride then takes us further north along the Parkway and into the world-famous town of Jasper, where we’ll stop for the night. Dinner is on our own tonight with plenty of options to choose from.

Day 5: Tuesday 24 August 2027 – Wells Gray Provincial Park, Helmcken Falls and Clearwater

Riding: 400 Kilometres | 249 Miles

Kickstands up at 08:30. This morning we ride southwest into British Columbia through the towns of Valemount and Blue River and into Wells Gray Provincial Park. An area famous for adventure enthusiasts. On the way, we’ll stop in Valemount for a stretch and some Timmy’s, and then in Blue River for lunch at the Grizzly Shack. Continuing southwest to the town of Clearwater, as we arrive, we’ll turn right and head into Wells Gray Provincial Park and enjoy the scenery as we ride the twists and turns of the park road to arrive at and view the
majestic Helmcken Falls, the fourth tallest waterfall in Canada. We’ll double back to the town of Clearwater and check in to our hotel, where we’ll rest for the night. Dinner tonight is at the delicious Hop n’ Hog Tap & Smokehouse.

Day-5-Wells-Gray-Provincial-Park-Helmcken-Falls-Clearwater Ride The Canadian Rockies and Best of BC - 14 Days - 20 August 2027

Day 6: Wednesday 25 August 2027 – Kamloops, Thompson River Valley, Cache Creek and Duffy Lake Road to Whistler

Riding: 440 Kilometres | 274 Miles

Kickstands up at 08:00. Today we ride south through the town of Little Fort and onward to Kamloops, where we intercept the Trans Canada Highway past Kamloops and southwest to the town of Cache Creek, where we’ll stop for lunch at the best taco stand. From there, we’ll ride to Lillooet, where we’ll make a quick stop to stretch and refuel before tackling the famous Duffy Lake Road en enroute to Whistler, stopping along the way for photo ops and to take in the beautiful scenery. We emerge from the Duffy Lake Road riding into the town of Pemberton, where we turn south and cruise along Highway #99, the Sea-to-Sky Highway, into the mountain town of Whistler, where we’ll rest for the night. Dinner is on our own tonight with lots of fun places to visit and eat in Whistler Village.

Day 7: Thursday 26 August 2027 – Sea to Sky, Grouse Mountain, the Peak of Vancouver

Riding: 252 Kilometres / 157 Miles

Kickstands up at 09:00. This morning we ride south along the Sea-To-Sky Highway with Howe Sound over our right shoulder. We’ll cruise through the Hamlet of Britannia Beach and pass by the town of Horseshoe Bay, and we’ll intercept Highway #1, the Trans Canada. We’ll skirt around the edges of the Lower Mainland, passing through the City of North Vancouver.

We’ll stop for an amazing experience at the Peak of Vancouver as we ride the Grouse Mountain Gondola high above the Lower Mainland, with views of Vancouver, the Pacific Ocean, and the Strait of Georgia. On a clear day, you can see Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands, and perhaps even the northern tip of Washington State.
While up at the top, we can have a snack and walk around for a while. Lots to do up Grouse Mountain, including the Wildlife Refuge with their in-house Grizzly Bears ‘Grinder’ and ‘Coola’. There are food options for lunch, and then there is just taking in the fresh air and amazing views.

After downloading, we’ll continue riding east through part of the City of Vancouver and into the Fraser Valley countryside. Our destination for tonight is the resort town of Harrison Hot Springs. Dinner is on our own tonight, but we recommend the Black Forest Restaurant, where you can enjoy Bavarian food and, of course, legendary German beer and wine.

Day-7-Sea-to-Sky-Grouse-Mountain-the-Peak-of-Vancouver Ride The Canadian Rockies and Best of BC - 14 Days - 20 August 2027

Day 8: Friday 27 August 2027 – Fraser Canyon, Nicola Valley, Similkameen Valley and the Okanagan Valley

Riding: 517 Kilometres / 321 Miles

Included Meals: Breakfast and Dinner.

Kickstands up at 08:00 sharp! A good day of riding Today. Longest of the tour. We’ll cruise along Highway #7 and then turn north and ride the twists and turns of the Fraser Canyon high above the mighty Fraser River. At the town of Spences Bridge, we’ll leave the Trans Canada Highway and turn east, riding on Highway #8 into the town of Merritt in the Nicola Valley.

From Merritt, we’ll ride the scenic and fun Highway #5A to the town of Princeton in the Similkameen Valley. We’ll have a stop n’ stretch and a snack in Princeton before continuing along Highway #3 along the Similkameen River, passing through the small, old historic mining town of Hedley and on into the town of Keremeos and on through the Richter Pass and down into the town of Osoyoos at the southern end of the Okanagan Valley. Osoyoos is a major border crossing with Washington State. Lake Osoyoos is the warmest body of freshwater in Canada and is split between the USA and Canada.
From Osoyoos, we’ll ride north along Highway #97 past vineyards and fruit stands until we reach the small city of Penticton at the southern end of Lake Okanagan. We’ll be staying in Penticton for three nights at a lakeside resort hotel with its own beach. After a long day of riding, dinner tonight is pizza and refreshments, sitting lakeside on the deck of the Barking Parrot Bar and watching the sunset over the lake and the surrounding hills.

Day 9: Saturday 28 August 2027 – A Morning in Penticton & Afternoon Wine Tour

Riding: Bikes are Parked Today

Included Meals: Lunch (Charcuterie during Wine Tour)

We get to sleep in a little bit, and breakfast is on your own this morning. A day off the bikes today to enjoy summertime in the South Okanagan. Across the street from the hotel is the Penticton Open-Air Community Market and Farmer’s Market, open from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm. The largest open-air community market in the Okanagan. We encourage you to stroll through the market, engage the vendors, and enjoy some free time. This afternoon, we’ll participate in an Okanagan favourite, a Wine Tour with Grape Savvy Wine Tours that includes lunch. Dinner is on you tonight, with plenty of walking-distance options to choose from.

Day 10: Sunday 29 August 2027 – Rock Creek Loop

Riding: 312 Kilometres | 194 Miles

Kickstands up at 08:30. We’ll ride north along Okanagan Lake to Summerland, Peachland and over the bridge to Kelowna. Through Kelowna, we’ll take Hwy #33 through Rutland, out the northeast side of Kelowna and south down Hwy #33 past the turn-off to Big White Ski Resort, along the minimal traffic twists and turns of the backcountry road all the way to the small Hamlet of Beaverdell, where we will have a stop n’ stretch. We’ll continue south along Hwy #33 to Rock Creek, where we’ll stop for lunch at the Prospector Pub along the Kettle River.
From Rock Creek, we’ll ride Hwy #3 over the Anarchist Summit and down the switchbacks into the Town of Osoyoos, giving you the view and perspective from the east side of the valley. We’ll then continue our way north up Hwy #97 to Penticton, where we’ll stop for our 3rd night at the Lakeside Resort. Dinner is on our own tonight.

Day-10 Ride The Canadian Rockies and Best of BC - 14 Days - 20 August 2027

Day 11: Monday 30 August 2027 – The North Okanagan and Revelstoke

Riding: 274 Kilometres | 171 Miles

Included Meals: Breakfast

Kickstands up at 08:30. Today we ride north along Highway #97 through Peachland and into West Kelowna, where we divert and ride Westside Road along the western side of Lake Okanagan. Much more scenic route, and we avoid riding through traffic in the Cities of Kelowna and Vernon. We’ll pop out just north of Vernon and back onto Highway #97, riding north through the small Towns of Armstrong and Enderby with a stop n’ stretch at the
Log Barn for ice cream.
Continuing on, we’ll intercept Highway #1 at Sicamous and ride east through 3 Valley Gap and into the Town of Revelstoke where we’ll rest for the night. Dinner is on our own tonight, and there are some good options at the resort. You might want to take a ride on the Gondola and the Pipe Mountain Coaster before or after dinner.

Day 12: Tuesday 31 August 2027 – The Kootenays (includes 1 ferry crossing)

Riding: 273 Kilometres | 170 Miles

Kickstands up at 09:00. Today we ride south into the Kootenay Region of BC. We’ll cruise along Highway #23 down to the Upper Arrow Lake Ferry that will take us on a 30-minute crossing from Shelter Bay to Galena. We’ll then continue riding south along Highway #23 into the Town of Nakusp, where we’ll have a stop n’ stretch and a snack, and maybe ice cream. From there, we ride south along Highway #6, enjoying the amazing lake and mountain views, to the town of New Denver, where we will stop for 5 minutes for a briefing about riding the next 50km on one of the top 10 riding roads in Canada, Highway 31A, to the town of Kaslo. From Kaslo, we will continue on Highway #31 along the lake and past the Kootenay Ferry terminal in Balfour, and on into the town of Nelson, where we will rest for the night. Dinner is on our own tonight, with lots of walking-distance options in Nelson.

Day 13: Wednesday 1 September 2027 – More of The Kootenays (includes 1 ferry crossing)

Riding: 337 Kilometres | 210 Miles

Kickstands up at 08:30. Today we ride a short distance along the shores of Kootenay Lake to Balfour and catch the Kootenay Lake Ferry for a 35-minute crossing of Kootenay Lake to Crawford Bay. We will disembark and ride south along the eastern shore of Kootenay Lake till we hit the Town of Creston, home of the Columbia Brewing Company, makers of the popular Kokanee Beer. At some point we’ll have a stop n’ stretch. After that, we’ll head east towards the Rockies, cruising through the City of Cranbrook and on towards our stop for the night at Fairmont Hot Springs. Dinner is on our own tonight at a nice pub and restaurant at the resort.

Day 14: Thursday 2 September 2027 – Into the Rockies and Back to Calgary

Riding: 312 Kilometres |194 Miles

Kickstands up at 08:30. Today we ride north into the Rocky Mountains along Highway #93, witnessing some spectacular scenery along the way. As we emerge from Highway #93, we’ll cross over the Trans Canada Highway and pick-up Highway #1A, the scenic twists and turns of the Bow Valley Parkway, but this time we are heading east. We’ll veer off around Banff for a short distance and then pick it up again after Canmore and ride the Bow Valley Parkway all the way back to Calgary, where we’ll drop off any rental motorcycles and
check-in to our hotel for the night.

Tonight, you’re invited to a farewell dinner at Moxie’s Restaurant & Bar, where we can laugh, relax, reminisce, and enjoy fond memories of our experiences from the past week’s ride.

All rental bikes come with driver floorboards, saddlebags, passenger backrest, passenger foot pegs or floorboards, and highway pegs. Some Touring models come with a top Tour Pak, subject to availability.

Damage Deposit

At the time of pick-up, each rental requires a CAD $2,500 damage deposit per bike. Calgary Harley-Davidson will take this deposit as a pre-authorisation on the tour participant’s credit card. Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be warmly greeted by our local representative and transferred to the elegant Hotel Shanker, one of Kathmandu’s most renowned heritage hotels.

This evening, you will meet your Road Captain and fellow riders for an introduction to your upcoming Nepal motorcycle tour. During the briefing, you will be introduced to your Royal Enfield motorcycle and receive important information covering road conditions, riding techniques, safety procedures, and recommended riding speeds for Nepal’s unique mountain roads. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and become familiar with the tour itinerary.

Following the briefing, you will be transferred to a traditional Nepali restaurant where you will enjoy an authentic welcome dinner featuring local cuisine and warm Nepalese hospitality. Day 2: Ride Around Kathmandu. (Kathmandu – Sankhu – Jarshing Pauwa – Nagarkot – Bhaktapur – Kathmandu)

08:00 HRS: Ride to Sankhu, Nagarkot & Bhaktapur

After breakfast, meet your Road Captain and support mechanic in the hotel lobby before beginning your first day of riding through the spectacular Kathmandu Valley. Today’s journey offers the perfect introduction to motorcycle touring in Nepal, combining scenic mountain roads, ancient cultural treasures, and breathtaking Himalayan panoramas.

Your ride begins with a journey to Sankhu, a historic Newari town located approximately 16 kilometres northeast of Kathmandu. One of the oldest settlements in the valley, Sankhu, is renowned for its rich cultural heritage, traditional architecture, and spiritual significance. The town’s unique grid-like design is said to resemble a sacred conch shell and is closely connected to the legend of the goddess Bajrayogini. Although heavily affected by the devastating 2015 earthquake, Sankhu continues to restore and preserve its remarkable history and charm.

From Sankhu, continue your ride along winding mountain roads to Nagarkot, one of Nepal’s most famous hill stations. Today’s ride covers approximately 155 kilometres and offers an authentic taste of riding in Nepal, with ever-changing scenery, diverse road conditions, and unforgettable local encounters.

As the urban landscape fades behind us, the route winds through lush green hills, terraced farmland, river valleys, and traditional rural villages where daily life has changed little over generations. Riders will experience a rewarding mix of smooth paved highways, sweeping bends, and occasional rougher sections that add an extra sense of adventure to the journey.

Leaving Sindhuli behind, the route takes us across the fertile plains of southern Nepal, where smooth roads wind through picturesque countryside, traditional farming communities, and vibrant rural landscapes. This section of the Nepal motorcycle tour offers a completely different perspective of the country, showcasing the diversity that makes riding in Nepal such a unique experience.

Arriving in Janakpur, often referred to as the spiritual heart of the Mithila region, you’ll discover a city rich in history, culture, and religious significance. Departing Janakpur, we travel through the fertile Terai region, where wide-open plains, agricultural farmland, and traditional villages stretch across the landscape. As the kilometres roll by, the scenery gradually transforms, with the flat lowlands giving way to rolling countryside and the foothills of eastern Nepal.

The route offers a constantly changing riding experience, featuring a combination of smooth highways, sweeping curves, and occasional rougher sections that add an extra sense of adventure. Day 6: Morning sightseeing in Dharan with an afternoon ride to Hile – Temples, Mountain Views and Twisting Himalayan Roads (2410 metres) 87 Kms – 3 Hours

Today’s ride may be relatively short, but it is packed with cultural discoveries, spectacular viewpoints, and some of the most enjoyable mountain roads of the Nepal motorcycle adventure.

After breakfast, we spend the morning exploring Dharan, often referred to as Nepal’s “Gurkha City.” Known for its unique cultural heritage, military history, and relaxed atmosphere, Dharan serves as the gateway to eastern Nepal’s hill region and offers a fascinating blend of traditions, communities, and landscapes.

Our first stop is the famous Budhasubba Temple, one of eastern Nepal’s most intriguing spiritual sites. Steeped in local legend and folklore, the temple attracts visitors from across Nepal who come to seek blessings and make wishes. Unlike many traditional temples, offerings here often include items such as tobacco, alcohol, and cigarettes. The temple’s iconic bamboo grove is especially popular with couples, who believe that carving their names into the bamboo symbolises everlasting love and good fortune.

Following our visit, we ride to the picturesque hill station of Bhedetar, one of the most popular viewpoints in eastern Nepal. Perched at an elevation of 1,420 metres above sea level, Bhedetar enjoys a pleasantly cool climate year-round and offers a welcome contrast to the warmer temperatures of the Terai plains below.

Nearby lies Shailung Danda, commonly known as Charles Point, named after Prince Charles’ visit in 1981. This remarkable viewpoint rewards visitors with breathtaking panoramas stretching across rolling green hills to the south and snow-capped Himalayan peaks to the north. On a clear day, the scenery is simply unforgettable and provides some of the best photo opportunities of the tour.

For those seeking an additional adventure, the spectacular Namaste Waterfall is located approximately 25 minutes from Bhedetar and offers an optional excursion to one of the region’s most beautiful natural attractions.

After sightseeing and lunch, we prepare for an enjoyable afternoon ride through the winding mountain roads of eastern Nepal. The route takes us through Dhankuta and the bustling hill town of Hile, famous for the giant traditional tongba vessel that stands proudly in the centre of the bazaar, celebrating the region’s cultural heritage.

Continuing through the scenic villages of Siduwa and Nunthala, we ride deeper into the hills, surrounded by terraced farmland, forests, and stunning mountain scenery. The final 22-kilometre stretch to Basantapur offers a rewarding combination of sweeping curves and panoramic views, making it a favourite among motorcycle enthusiasts.

Arriving in Basantapur, we check into the Yak Hotel and spend the rest of the day relaxing in the cool mountain air, reflecting on another unforgettable day of riding, sightseeing, and cultural exploration.

Day 7: Basantapur to Bhojpur Bazaar – Pathibhara Adventure and Himalayan Vistas (1530 metres) 210 Kms – 4 Hours

Today begins with an early morning adventure to the sacred Pathibhara Temple, one of eastern Nepal’s most revered pilgrimage sites. This unique excursion combines scenic riding, a touch of off-road adventure, and some of the most spectacular mountain views of the entire Nepal motorcycle tour.

Our ride starts with approximately 8 to 10 kilometres of smooth blacktop road before transitioning onto a thrilling 2-kilometre off-road section. The changing terrain adds an extra layer of excitement as we make our way towards the trailhead.

From here, a short but steep 15-minute uphill trek leads to the temple. On clear days, the reward is extraordinary. The viewpoint offers breathtaking panoramic views of the eastern Himalayas, including the mighty Kanchenjunga, the world’s third-highest mountain at 8,586 metres, dominating the skyline to the east. Nearby stands the impressive Mount Jannu, while the distant peaks of Makalu and Everest often stretch across the horizon. For many riders, this is one of the most memorable mountain viewpoints in Nepal.

After soaking in the spectacular scenery, we return to the hotel for breakfast before continuing our motorcycle adventure.

Retracing our route to Hile, we then turn towards Bhojpur, embarking on a scenic 112-kilometre ride through the heart of eastern Nepal. The winding roads traverse rolling hills, traditional villages, terraced farmland, and dense forests, offering a constantly changing landscape. Along the way, there are occasional glimpses of the majestic peaks of Makalu and Chamlang, adding a dramatic backdrop to the day’s ride.

By late afternoon, we arrive in Bhojpur Bazaar, a charming hill town and district headquarters renowned throughout Nepal for producing the famous handmade Khukuri knives carried by Gurkha soldiers for generations. The town offers an authentic glimpse into rural Nepal, far removed from the country’s more visited tourist centres.

Tonight, we stay in a traditional local lodge, providing an authentic experience of life in Nepal’s hill country.

Leaving Bhojpur after breakfast, we ride towards Diktel, passing through some of Nepal’s most picturesque countryside. The route winds through terraced farms, lush forests, and fragrant orange orchards that cling to the hillsides. The ever-changing scenery provides countless opportunities to experience the natural beauty that makes motorcycle touring in Nepal so unique.

As we continue, the roads become increasingly dramatic, with sweeping bends and stunning valley views unfolding around every corner. A challenging and enjoyable 10-kilometre off-road section adds an adventurous element to the journey before we climb towards a mountain pass reaching 2,140 metres above sea level.

The reward for the climb is a series of breathtaking Himalayan panoramas. On clear days, riders can enjoy views of towering peaks including Numbur, Mera Peak, and numerous mountains exceeding 6,000 metres. These lesser-known Himalayan landscapes provide a sense of remoteness and discovery rarely experienced by visitors to Nepal.

Our destination is Halesi, one of Nepal’s most important spiritual sites and a revered pilgrimage destination for both Hindus and Buddhists. Often referred to as the “Pashupatinath of Eastern Nepal,” Halesi is famous for its sacred cave temples and deep religious significance. Pilgrims from across Nepal, India, Tibet, and Bhutan visit this remarkable site to seek blessings and explore its ancient spiritual heritage.

After visiting the Halesi Mahadev Temple complex and surrounding pilgrimage sites, we take a short ride to our accommodation, where we can relax and enjoy the peaceful mountain surroundings.

Day 9: Halesi to Pattale – Riding Towards Everest Country (2940 metres) 100 Kms – 4 Hours

Today is one of the most scenic and rewarding riding days of the tour as we leave the sacred region of Halesi and climb deeper into the Himalayan foothills towards Pattale, a spectacular mountain settlement on the edge of the Solukhumbu region.

After breakfast, we begin our ride on winding mountain roads towards Hile Pani, approximately 35 kilometres away. The route offers a genuine taste of adventure riding in Nepal, including a challenging 5 to 6-kilometre section that has been affected by landslides and seasonal washouts. This stretch adds an extra element of excitement and showcases the rugged nature of Nepal’s mountain roads. As Halesi is a major pilgrimage destination, particularly during the winter months, the roads are often lively with local travellers and pilgrims making their way to the sacred temples.

From Hile Pani, we continue on an unforgettable 61-kilometre ascent through the heart of eastern Nepal. The road winds through traditional villages, terraced hillsides, forested valleys, and the bustling town of Okhaldhunga, offering a fascinating glimpse into everyday life in Nepal’s hill country.

As we gain altitude, the scenery becomes increasingly dramatic. Twisting mountain roads climb steadily through pristine landscapes before reaching Pattale at an elevation of 2,940 metres above sea level. On clear afternoons, riders are rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayan mountain range, including the possibility of seeing the world’s highest peak, Mount Everest, rising above the distant horizon.

Often described as one of Nepal’s best-kept secrets, Pattale sits on the border of the Okhaldhunga and Solukhumbu districts and serves as a gateway to the Everest region. The area is renowned for its spectacular natural beauty. During spring, the surrounding hills burst into colour with vibrant rhododendron blooms, Nepal’s national flower, while winter transforms the landscape into a picturesque alpine wonderland dusted with snow.

Tonight, we stay with local hosts at the welcoming Nice View Hotel or Himali Homestay. Operated by Sherpa families, these mountain lodges offer an authentic Himalayan experience. Day 10: Pattale to Manthali – Himalayan Sunrise, Mountain Roads and River Valleys (500 metres) 140 Kms – 4 Hours

Today begins with one of the most unforgettable experiences of the entire Nepal motorcycle adventure.

Before breakfast, we set out on a short morning hike to the hilltop viewpoint above Pattale. The 30 to 40-minute walk passes the communication towers before reaching a sheltered viewing platform perched high above the surrounding landscape. As the morning light illuminates the horizon, an extraordinary Himalayan panorama unfolds before you.

From this remarkable vantage point, you’ll witness a breathtaking mountain range stretching across the skyline. Towering peaks exceeding 6,000 and 7,000 metres dominate the horizon, while several of the world’s highest mountains rise above 8,000 metres. On clear days, the views extend across a vast section of the Himalayas, creating one of the most spectacular mountain experiences available in Nepal. This is a photographer’s dream and a moment that many riders consider the highlight of the entire tour.

After returning for a hearty breakfast, we begin an exhilarating descent of more than 1,100 metres towards Okhaldhunga. The winding mountain roads offer incredible riding as we descend through forests, traditional villages, and terraced hillsides, with occasional glimpses of the snow-capped Himalayan peaks.

After approximately 45 minutes, we stop to refuel before continuing our ride towards Harkapur. The 58-kilometre route takes us through beautiful countryside and eventually reaches the scenic Sunkoshi River Valley. The combination of mountain roads, river crossings, and ever-changing landscapes provides an authentic taste of motorcycle touring in Nepal.

From Harkapur, we follow the Sunkoshi River upstream, riding through dramatic river gorges and subtropical landscapes at elevations ranging between 300 and 500 metres above sea level. While a few short sections of road have been affected by seasonal weather and washouts, adding a touch of adventure to the ride, the route remains highly rewarding and showcases some of Nepal’s most beautiful natural scenery.

Arriving in Khurkot, we stop for a well-earned lunch before continuing on the final stretch of the day. A relaxed 40-minute ride brings us to Manthali, a bustling town in the Ramechhap District and an important gateway to eastern Nepal.

Upon arrival, we check into the welcoming Freedom Resort, where we can unwind and reflect on a day filled with Himalayan panoramas, thrilling mountain roads, and unforgettable riding experiences.

After breakfast, we depart Manthali and follow the beautiful Tamakoshi River upstream towards Tamakoshi Bazaar. This 37-kilometre section delivers an unforgettable riding experience as we steadily climb from approximately 500 metres to 1,810 metres above sea level. The road twists through rugged mountain landscapes, traditional villages, and forested hillsides, with every turn revealing increasingly impressive views.

As we gain altitude, the magnificent Himalayan skyline begins to dominate the horizon. On clear days, riders are treated to spectacular views of Mount Gauri Shankar, one of Nepal’s most sacred and striking peaks, along with the impressive Numbur and Chamlang mountain ranges. The combination of challenging mountain roads and world-class scenery makes this one of the most rewarding rides of the expedition.

Lunch is served at the rooftop restaurant of the Ambrosia Hotel, where panoramic Himalayan views provide an unforgettable backdrop. Few lunch stops anywhere in the world can rival the experience of dining while surrounded by some of the highest mountains on Earth.

Following lunch, we continue our ascent on a scenic 22-kilometre ride to Lakuridanda in Kharidhunga, reaching an elevation of 2,750 metres. This spectacular mountain location is renowned for its breathtaking views across the Himalayan range and is considered one of the premier viewpoints in eastern Nepal.

The panorama from Lakuridanda is truly extraordinary. Snow-capped peaks stretch endlessly across the horizon, creating a landscape that changes throughout the day as the light shifts across the mountains. Part of the magic is discovering for yourself which Himalayan giants reveal themselves from this remarkable vantage point.

As evening approaches, the grounds behind our accommodation provide the perfect setting for relaxation and to absorb the grandeur of the Himalayas. Whether watching the golden glow of sunset illuminate the peaks or preparing for an unforgettable sunrise the following morning, this is a place where the beauty of Nepal’s mountains can be appreciated in all their glory.

Day 12: Kharidhunga to Kathmandu – The Final Ride Through the Himalayas (1350 metres) 100 kms – 4 Hours

Today marks the final riding day of our unforgettable Nepal motorcycle adventure as we make our way back to Kathmandu, bringing to a close an extraordinary journey through some of the country’s most spectacular landscapes, cultural treasures, and Himalayan mountain regions.

After breakfast, we begin the approximately 100-kilometre ride back to Nepal’s vibrant capital. The journey takes around four hours and offers one last opportunity to enjoy the thrilling mountain roads that have become a defining feature of this Himalayan motorcycle tour.

The route combines scenic highways, sweeping bends, and winding mountain sections as we gradually descend towards the Kathmandu Valley. Along the way, riders can savour the ever-changing scenery, from forested hillsides and rural villages to dramatic mountain vistas that have accompanied us throughout the expedition.

As we approach Kathmandu, there is time to reflect on the incredible experiences shared over the past days. From ancient temples and sacred pilgrimage sites to remote mountain communities, off-road adventures, and breathtaking views of some of the world’s highest peaks, this journey has revealed the extraordinary diversity that makes motorcycle touring in Nepal such a unique and rewarding experience.

Arriving back in Kathmandu, we return to the comfort of Hotel Shanker, where the adventure first began. The remainder of the afternoon is free to relax, explore the city, or simply celebrate the completion of an epic Himalayan motorcycle expedition.

This evening, we gather for a farewell dinner, sharing stories, photographs, and memories from a journey that has taken us across mountain passes, river valleys, remote villages, and some of the most spectacular roads in Nepal.

Enjoy a free day exploring Nepal’s fascinating capital city, a destination renowned for its rich history, vibrant culture, ancient architecture, and spiritual significance. Whether you choose to relax and unwind or continue your adventure on foot, Kathmandu offers countless opportunities for discovery.

You may wish to visit some of the city’s iconic UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, the magnificent Boudhanath Stupa, the ancient streets of Kathmandu Durbar Square, or the hilltop Swayambhunath Stupa, affectionately known as the Monkey Temple. Each site provides a unique insight into Nepal’s diverse cultural and religious heritage.

For those who enjoy shopping and local experiences, the bustling streets of Thamel offer an exciting mix of traditional handicrafts, trekking gear, artwork, jewellery, and souvenirs. Wander through colourful markets, sample authentic Nepali cuisine, or relax at one of the many cafés while soaking up the atmosphere of this vibrant city.

Alternatively, simply enjoy the facilities and tranquil surroundings of Hotel Shanker, reflecting on the incredible journey you’ve completed through remote mountain villages, sacred pilgrimage sites, winding Himalayan roads, and some of the world’s most spectacular scenery.

This is the perfect opportunity to pick up souvenirs, traditional handicrafts, local artwork, or gifts to remind you of your incredible journey through the heart of the Himalayas.

At the appropriate time, our representative will meet you at the hotel and transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward flight home.

Day 02: Wednesday 07 July 2027 – Shediac Bay ‘Lobster Tales’ Cruise and Confederation Bridge to Prince Edward Island.

Riding: 176 Kilometres / 109 Miles

Kickstands up at 09:00. Full tank and empty bladder. This morning, we will ride to Shediac, New Brunswick, the “Lobster Capital of the World”. After a group photo with the world’s largest lobster, we move to the waterfront where we’ll climb aboard a waiting vessel for an interactive ‘Lobster Tales’ cruise on the warm waters of Shediac Bay. Learn about the lobster fishing industry while enjoying a freshly cooked lobster feast, deliciously famous in Acadian culture. Later, we’ll ride across the 12½ km long Confederation Bridge onto Prince Edward Island. If you’ve never experienced this bridge before, it is a sight to behold, especially on a motorcycle, which will include stopping for a group photo with our bikes and the bridge, then souvenir shopping before heading to Canada’s birthplace of Confederation, Charlottetown. Dinner tonight is on your own, with plenty of fun places to eat within walking distance of the hotel.

Day 03: Thursday 08 July 2027 – Anne of Green Gables, Cavendish Beach, Thunder Cove Beach and Prince Edward Island National Park

Riding: 175 Kilometres / 108 miles

Kickstands up at 08:30 am. Full tank and empty bladder. Today we’ll cruise around Prince Edward Island. Our first stop will be a lighthouse on the Atlantic coast, in PEI National Park. From there, we’ll ride to Cavendish Beach, where we will experience the famous red sand beaches of P.E.I. A little further along, we’ll visit the Anne of Green Gables Heritage Site to learn about the island’s famous daughter. We’ll have a stop n’ stretch break at P.E.I. Preserves where you can have a taste of down-home island cooking for lunch if you’re hungry. Be sure to shop for their hand-made fresh preserves and jellies. We’ll finish off the afternoon with a leisurely ride through the countryside back to Charlottetown, arriving early enough to allow us to enjoy the Downtown of this quaint little city. Dinner is on your own tonight.

Day 04: Friday 09 July 2027 – Cape Breton Island (1 ferry crossing)

Riding: 345 Kilometres / 214 miles

Kickstands up at 08:00. Full tank and empty bladder. Leaving early, we have a ferry to catch and lots of ground to cover. Today, we will ride over to Wood Islands to catch the Northumberland Ferry, which will take us on a 75-minute trip across the Northumberland Strait back to Nova Scotia. After disembarking the ferry, our ride will take us along the coast to the Cape George lighthouse. Then we’ll ride through the ‘Highland Heart’ of Nova Scotia to the Strait of Canso, which separates the mainland of Nova Scotia from Cape Breton Island. Cape Breton Island was originally settled by Loyalists from New York State following the American Revolution. These settlers were followed by Scottish immigrants, who chose this region because it reminded them of their homeland. Near the Canso Causeway, we’ll have a stop n’ stretch for a photo-op of the Canso Strait and Porcupine Mountain. Then we’ll ride to Baddeck, overlooking beautiful Bras d’Or Lake, where J.A.D. McCurdy flew the first manned powered Canadian flight above the ice of Baddeck Bay in his famous ‘Silver Dart’ in February 1909. Dinner tonight is at McCurdy’s Restaurant at our hotel.

Day 05: Saturday 10 July 2027 – The Cabot Trail

Riding: 298 Kilometres / 184 Miles

Kickstands up at 08:00. Full tank and empty bladder. Today, we will ride the loop of the world-famous Cabot Trail. Going counterclockwise, we usually will have the ocean on our right. Our first scenic viewpoint is after a nice set of corners at the top of Cape Smokey. After a short pit stop at the beautiful Celtic Lodge, we cut across the high points of the Cape Breton Highlands and the many twists and turns needed to get there. After the switchbacks of Mackenzie Mountain, we stop at its scenic viewpoint. From there, we will dismount for lunch at the Rusty Anchor. We’ll enjoy the epic views from this iconic cliffside eatery. We’ll then continue on to Cheticamp and the famous Floras Gift Shop. We’ll make a point of stopping at Margaree Harbour to get a photo in front of the Cabot Trail sign. How else would your friends believe you were there? We’ll then cruise along the western side of the island, returning to Baddeck for the night. Dinner is on your own tonight.

Day 06: Sunday 11 July 2027 – Cape Breton Island to Halifax

We leave Cape Breton Island today, riding across the Canso Causeway, heading south along scenic, twisty roads through sleepy little towns, towards the incredible rugged coastlines and views as we cruise along the shore towards Halifax. Stopping for a stretch and a snack at a quaint tearoom in Sherbrooke, we will continue along the coast, riding southwest along the eastern shoreline towards Halifax.

Day 07: Monday 12 July 2027 – A Day off the Bikes – Time on your own and a Harbour Cruise.

We can sleep in a bit today and enjoy half the day to ourselves. We suggest visiting Pier 21, the Canadian Museum of Immigration and experiencing the beautiful waterfront. Pay a visit to The Citadel, which is the fourth British military fortification built on Citadel Hill in the centre of Halifax. It has now been restored and is a Canadian National Historic Site. The original fortification was built in 1749. This afternoon, enjoy a Maritime experience, the ‘Tall Ship Silva’ Harbour Cruise. Dinner tonight is at the Waterfront Warehouse.

Day 08: Tuesday 13 July 2027 – Peggy’s Cove, the South Shore, Mahone Bay and Lunenburg.

Riding: 281 Kilometres / 175 miles

Kickstands up at 08:30. Full tank and empty bladder. As we ride south from Halifax, we’ll cruise along Nova Scotia’s famous ‘Lighthouse Route’, a beautiful, scenic ride that will take us through picturesque coastal villages and inlets to the rugged fishing community of Peggy’s Cove .

With its breathtaking location on a narrow coastal inlet characterised by wave-worn granite rocks and crashing surf, it’s easy to see why this charming little community is perhaps Canada’s most photographed site. With a year-round population of 30, Peggy’s Cove is a sleepy little town famous for several things, including beautiful ocean waters, a small, narrow inlet, a scenic lighthouse, and the unfortunate crash 8 km offshore of Swissair Flight 111 on Sep 02, 1998, after departing from New York’s JFK Airport.

Departing Peggy’s Cove, we’ll ride along Nova Scotia’s beautiful South Shore through the picturesque seaside village of Mahone Bay to arrive in the scenic town of Lunenburg, founded in 1753. With its brightly coloured buildings lining the shore, Lunenburg is considered one of Canada’s most colorful postcard- perfect towns and is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We’ll have lunch overlooking the sailboat-filled harbour before riding some twists and turns along the route back to Halifax, passing through small villages that add character to the Lighthouse Route. Dinner is on your own tonight. Enjoy the many fun dining opportunities along the Halifax Harbourfront.

Day 09: Wednesday 14 July 2027 – Nova Scotia Shoreline & New Brunswick (1 ferry crossing)

Riding: 398 Kilometres / 246 miles

Kickstands up at 08:30 am. Full tank and empty bladder. Departing Halifax inland, our ride today travels out past the local riders’ favourite ‘Fall River Tim Hortons’, and our route follows the historic Shubenacadie Canal for a time, before we turn and ride through rich farmlands and pastures. After a stop in Windsor, the Blomidon Look-Off, one of the more scenic mainland viewpoints, will be our destination for a photo-op. We’ll then continue riding a short distance to Halls Harbour, visiting this small fishing village on the Bay of Fundy. Be sure to note where the waterline is when you arrive, as the world-record tides will make a dramatic difference. The tide will be going out and will drop nearly 3 meters while we have lunch. Moving back up to the Northern side of the Annapolis Valley, our ride continues to Historic Annapolis Royal, on the Digby Gut, one of the first North American settlement areas over 400 years ago. After a short visit to this quaint area, we will move through Digby to catch the MV Fundy Rose, on which we will enjoy crossing the Bay of Fundy to Saint John, New Brunswick, where our hotel for the night is a short ride from the ferry terminal. Day 10: Thursday 15 July 2025 – Fundy Trail Parkway, Bay of Fundy, Hopewell Rocks, and Moncton.

Riding: 215 Kilometres / 134 miles

Kickstands up at 08:30. Full tank and empty bladder. Our ride along the north side of the Bay of Fundy will be a challenge between carving the corners and revelling in the scenery. After a short ride from the hotel, we’ll check out a seaside village for a stop, stretch and some coffee and tea while exploring a covered bridge. Departing from there, we enter the Fundy Trail Parkway. There will be a couple of scenic viewpoint and photo-op stops along the way, and a snack and refreshment stop at some point as we traverse this amazingly scenic stretch of road. Stopping to experience the magnificent Hopewell Rocks. A short hike will let us walk on the sea floor among towering rock cliffs if we are there at low tide. From there, it’s a short ride through Moncton to our hotel. Dinner tonight is at the Keg Steakhouse & Bar hosted by Freedom Biker Tours, where we will relax, laugh, enjoy a good last meal together, and reminisce about our ride and experiences together.

Step #1: Book your Ride with Freedom Biker Tours using our online reservations form. Each Rider and Passenger must complete and submit their own reservation form. Payment of the deposit is not required to submit the reservations form. You will be contacted after submitting the form, and deposit(s) will be collected then.

Step #2: If you’re not riding your own bike, motorcycle rentals are from Moncton Harley-Davidson. We’ll pick up rental motorcycles after you check in to the hotel. The rental contract is exclusively between the Tour Participant (renter) and Moncton Harley-Davidson (rental company). Freedom Biker Tours assumes no liability.

Damage Deposit

A per-bike damage deposit of CAD $2,500 is required at the time of pick-up for each rental. When the bike is returned with no damage, the pre- authorization will be released.

Day 1: Saturday 26 June 2027 – Calgary, Alberta

If flying to Calgary, take the complimentary shuttle from the airport to our hotel. Walk over and pick up the bike rental (if applicable) at Calgary Harley-Davidson, located across the street from the hotel. Connect with Freedom Biker Tours. This evening, we will have a meet-and-greet at the hotel, including a Welcome Dinner, Orientation and Briefing hosted by Freedom Biker Tours.

Day-01-Calgary Ride Canada's Rockies and Best of BC - 12 Days - 26 June 2027.

Day 2: Sunday 27 June 2027 – Cowboy Trail, Longview, Highwood Pass and Banff

Riding: 301 Kilometres | 187 Miles

Included Meals: Breakfast & Dinner

Kickstands up at 9:30 am. Full tank and an empty bladder. It’s time to get outta’ Dodge and hit the road. We’ll mount up and head southwest on the Cowboy Trail eventually cruising south to Longview where we will fuel up and stop for a visit and a snack at the biker-friendly Twin Cities Saloon. It gets really interesting from here as we ride northwest into the Rocky Mountains and Kananaskis Country. We’ll cruise the Highwood Pass, the highest paved road in Canada which is closed half the year. We’ll enjoy the majestic mountain scenery and likely some wildlife. We’ll eventually pop out onto the Trans Canada Highway as we ride a short distance into world-famous Banff where we rest for two nights. Dinner tonight is at the ‘Fat Ox of Banff’ restaurant located in our hotel.

Day 3: Monday 28 June 2027 – Banff Gondola and A Day in Banff

Riding: Not today

Included Meals: N/A

We can sleep in a little bit this morning. Breakfast is on your own this morning. We’ll meet in the hotel’s lobby at a time to be advised and head over to the boarding station of the Banff Gondola. We’ll board the Gondola cars and ride high up to the summit of Sulphur Mountain where we’ll be amazed at the views of six surrounding mountain ranges, the Bow Valley, and the Town of Banff. Enjoy the Banff Interpretive Centre and learn about the history and other interesting facts of Canada’s first National Park. There is grab-and-go fare at Castle Mountain Coffee Shop for those who want to enjoy something while up at the peak.

After our mountain-top experience, we’ll head back down to the Gondola base and back to the Town of Banff. The rest of the day is yours to wander the Town of Banff and relax. We recommend visiting the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, the ‘Castle in the Rockies’. Dinner is on your own tonight, and Freedom Biker Tours can recommend some fun places to eat.

Day 4: Tuesday 29 June 2027 – Bow Valley Parkway, Ice Fields Parkway and Jasper

Riding: 293 Kilometres | 182 Miles

Included Meals: Breakfast & Lunch

Kickstands up at 8:30 am. Full tank and an empty bladder. Today we ride along the scenic Bow Valley Parkway enjoying the majestic scenery as we eventually connect with the Ice Fields Parkway heading north towards Jasper. Along the way, we’ll stop for a do-it-yourself BBQ lunch at Saskatchewan River Crossing’s Parkway Pub. After lunch and a fuel check, we’ll continue riding north along the parkway. We’ll stop and enjoy the Columbia Icefields Adventure; a unique and iconic experience as we step out onto the Athabasca Glacier. Our ride then takes us further north along the Parkway and into the world-famous town of Jasper where we’ll stop for the night. Dinner tonight is at a surprise location.

Day 5: Wednesday 30 June 2027- (Canada Day) Wells Gray Provincial Park, Helmcken Falls and Clearwater

Riding: 400 Kilometres | 249 Miles

Kickstands up at 8:30 am. Full tank and an empty bladder. This morning we ride southwest through Valemount and Blue River and into Wells Gray Provincial Park, an area famous for outdoor adventure enthusiasts. On the way, we’ll stop in Valemount and Blue River for a stretch and some Timmy’s. Continuing southwest to the Town of Clearwater, as we arrive, we’ll turn right and head north into Wells Gray Provincial Park and enjoy the scenery as we cruise the twists and turns of the park road to arrive at and view the majestic Helmcken Falls. We’ll then ride back into Town where we’ll rest for the night. Dinner tonight is at the delicious Hop ‘N’ Hog Tap & Smokehouse.

Day 6: Thursday 01 July 2027 – Kamloops, Thompson River Valley & Kelowna

Riding: 301 Kilometres | 187 Miles

Included Meals: Breakfast

Kickstands up at 9:00 am. Full tank and an empty bladder. Today we ride south to the Thompson River Valley and through the outskirts of the City of Kamloops at the forks of the mighty Thompson River. From there we ride southeast through the rich farmlands of the North Okanagan Valley to the Town of Falkland for a snack and refreshments at the biker-friendly Falkland Pub. We then continue riding east a short way and then turn south cruising along the fun, twisty and motorcycle-popular Westside Road with spectacular lake and mountain views as we cruise into West Kelowna along the west shore of Okanagan Lake. Finally, we’ll cross the floating bridge into the City of Kelowna, where we will rest for the night. Dinner tonight is on your own, and we recommend Mickie’s Pub in our hotel.

Day 7: Friday 02 July 2027 – Rock Creek Loop

Riding: 245 Kilometres / 152 Miles

Kickstands up at 8:30 am. Full tank and an empty bladder. This morning we ride southeast from Kelowna on Highway 33 passing near Big White Ski Resort and continuing south to Beaverdell and Rock Creek in the Boundary Region. In Beaverdell we’ll take a stop n’ stretch and then continue to Rock Creek and stop for a snack along the river at the biker-friendly Prospector Pub. From there we ride west on Highway 3 over the Anarchist Summit and down into Osoyoos stopping to marvel at the amazing views along the way. Osoyoos is a desert landscape at the southern end of the Canadian portion of the Okanagan Valley and is located on the border with Washington State. Lake Osoyoos is the warmest body of fresh water in Canada. It sits half in Canada and half in the USA. From Osoyoos, we’ll ride north on Highway 97 and cruise through vineyard-rich wine country and along the shores of Skaha Lake emerging into the City of Penticton which sits at the southern end of Okanagan Lake. We rest in Penticton for two nights in rooms with beautiful lake views. Dinner tonight is lakeside at the Barking Parrot Bar at our hotel.

Day 8: Saturday 03 July 2027 – A Day off the Bikes and Afternoon Wine Tour

We can sleep in a little bit, and breakfast is on your own this morning. A day off the bikes today to enjoy summertime in the South Okanagan. Across the street from the hotel is the Penticton Open-Air Community Market and Farmer’s Market open from 8:30 am – 1:00 pm. The largest community market in the Okanagan. We encourage you to stroll through the market, engage the vendors, and enjoy some free time. We’ll reconvene in the hotel’s lobby at 12:30 and this afternoon, we’ll participate in an Okanagan favourite, a Wine Tour with Grape Savvy Wine Tours that includes a charcuterie lunch. Dinner is on your own tonight with plenty of walking distance options to choose from.

Day 9: Sunday 04 July 2027 From the Okanagan to the Kootenays

Riding: 309 Kilometers / 192 Miles (includes one short ferry crossing)

Kickstands up at 8:30 am. Full tank and an empty bladder. Today we ride north up Highway 97, the spine of the Okanagan Valley, along the shores of Okanagan Lake to Kelowna and Vernon, where we turn right and ride scenic Highway 6 east through the Monashee Mountains into the Kootenay Region. We’ll traverse rich farmlands and scenic mountains, and cross Lower Arrow Lake on a cable ferry from Needles to Fauquier. We’ll eventually ride into the Town of Nakusp, and our stop for the night is at Rider’s Retreat, a Biker-exclusive campground that is more like ‘Glamping’ for Bikers. We’ll enjoy a cookout dinner and some relaxing time around the campfire.

Day 10: Monday 05 July 2027 – The Kootenays

Riding: 322 Kilometres / 200 Miles (includes one short ferry crossing)

Kickstands up at 8:30 am. Full tank and an empty bladder. Today, we ride south to New Denver, enjoying the scenic mountain and lake views as we traverse some of the best motorcycling roads in Canada. Our ride takes us along the twists and turns of Highway 31A to the lakeside Town of Kaslo. From there, we cruise south along Kootenay Lake, passing through Ainsworth Hot Springs and enjoying the road’s twists and turns as we take in spectacular lake and mountain vistas. We’ll enjoy a 35-minute Kootenay Bay ferry ride from Balfour to Crawford Bay and then continue riding south along the lake to the Town of Creston, home of the Columbia Brewing Company, makers of the popular Kokanee Beer. From there, we ride east to the City of Cranbrook, where we’ll rest for the night. Dinner tonight is on your own. We recommend the Firehall Kitchen & Tap, which is within walking distance of our hotel.

Day 11: Tuesday 06 July 2027 – Crowsnest Pass, Frank Slide & Calgary

Riding: 389 Kilometres / 242 Miles

Today we ride east along the Crowsnest Highway through the Crowsnest Pass with a stop at the Crowsnest Pass sign for a photo op, and also at the Frank Slide lookout. Continuing on, we’ll leave British Columbia and cruise back into the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and into the Province of Alberta. We’ll ride north through the foothills to the Town of Longview and back into the City of Calgary from the south. Tonight, you’re invited to a farewell dinner at Moxie’s Restaurant & Bar where we can laugh, relax, reminisce, and enjoy fond memories of our experiences from the past week’s ride.

Welcome to Sydney. A member of the Ride The World Motorcycle Tours team will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. It’s been a long flight, so today is a rest day.

Tomorrow, we stretch your legs as we explore Sydney.

Sydney-Hilton-Hotel Ride Australia’s Southeast – 16 November 2026 – 15 Days

Day 02: Tuesday, 17 November 2026 – Adventures in Sydney, NSW.

Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

After breakfast, we will explore Sydney. You may wish to do the Sydney Bridge Climb as an optional tour; just let us know, and we will book it for you. It is an incredible way to see and experience the views of Sydney and the harbour area.

We’ll do a walking tour to the historic ‘The Rocks’ area of Sydney and around Circular Quay to the world-famous Sydney Opera House.

During lunch, we will review the days ahead, have a safety briefing, sign waivers, etc. So, have your questions ready.

In the late afternoon, we will enjoy a Sydney Harbour Cruise with a light dinner on board a tall ship.

Southern-Swan-taal-ship Ride Australia’s Southeast – 16 November 2026 – 15 Days

Day 03: Wednesday, 18 November 2026 – Sydney, NSW to Wollongong, NSW.

Riding: 154 Kilometres | 96 Miles – 2 hours 40 mins riding plus stops.

Included Meals: Breakfast.

After breakfast, we transfer to pick up our motorcycles and embark on our exhilarating motorcycle tour.

After collecting our motorcycles, we ride southbound across the Sydney Harbour Bridge, then ride through the wooded Royal National Park. At its southern end, we will stop at Bald Hill Lookout to see the sweeping coastline views ahead. Then, a little detour and head south to cross the iconic Sea Cliff Bridge, a marvel of engineering perched above the azure waters of the South Pacific Ocean. We will turn around and head north across the bridge to the next destination.

We soon arrive at Symbio Wildlife Park, where you can get close to Australia’s diverse wildlife.

We return to the motorcycle and ride a top the escarpment with a stop at Sublime Point to view the seascape and suburbs below. Then onto our overnight accommodation. Dinner can be taken at the local pub, The Figtree Hotel, also known as the ‘Figgy’. To have an Aussie dinner.

Day-03-Seven-Hills-NSW-to-Wollongong-Map-1 Ride Australia’s Southeast – 16 November 2026 – 15 Days

Day 04: Thursday, 19 November 2026 – Wollongong, NSW to Narooma, NSW.

Riding: 305 Kilometres | 190 Miles – 4 hours 46 minutes riding plus stops.

Kickstands up at 8:30 am. We start the day in the Illawarra and head for the hills.

First stop will be the HARS Aviation Museum at Albion Park Rail.

After looking around the old aircraft, we ride up Macquarie Pass, a very popular motorcycling road among local riders and ‘those in the know’. Reaching the top of the pass, we will stop at the renowned Robertson Pie Shop for a savoury or sweet pit stop, where hearty delights (pies of all types. meat or fruit) await us, you will need to recharge after Macquarie Pass. The coffee is a bonus.

With full bellies, we descend to the small town of Jamberoo and head for the coast along the narrow scenic road to Kiama.

At Kiama, we visit the iconic Kiama Blow Hole, which showcases nature’s power in a mesmerising spectacle when conditions are right.

As we head south from Kiama, we will ride through the Kiama bends. The road is between the sea and the cliffs, so you will need to concentrate on your riding. Then it’s freeway time, then some rural highway to our night’s accommodation.

Day-04-Wollongong-to-Narooma-Map Ride Australia’s Southeast – 16 November 2026 – 15 Days

Day 05: Friday, 20 November 2026 – Narooma, NSW to Orbost, Vic.

Riding: 317 Kilometres | 197 Miles – 4 hours riding plus stops.

Kickstands up at 7:30 am. As we ride to the local beach for breakfast. After breakfast, we depart Narooma for more of New South Wales coastal riding.

We ride along the rural highway to the Bega lookout, then on to the Bega Cheese factory and museum. The milkshakes and ice cream are a definite treat,

Our next stop is the coastal town of Eden, where we explore the local maritime history at the Killer Whale Museum. Here, we are taken back to the whaling days with a fascinating story about a Killer Whale called Tom.

From Eden, we soon leave New South Wales, cross into the State of Victoria, and onto tonight’s overnight stop at Orbost.

Day-05-Narooma-to-Orbost Ride Australia’s Southeast – 16 November 2026 – 15 Days

Day 06: Saturday, 21 November 2026 – Orbost, Vic to Phillip Island, Vic.

Riding: 367 Kilometres | 228 Miles – 5 hours riding plus stops.

Kickstands up at 8:00 am. We have a good day’s ride ahead of us. After a continental breakfast in our rooms, we ride west, then south and head for the Victorian coast, then west again.

When we reach Phillip Island, our next stop is the Grand Prix Circuit Visitor Centre, offering an insight into the excitement and history of car and motorcycle racing.

Tonight we witness the Penguin Parade, where we watch the ‘Little Penguins’ return to their nests after a day out to sea fishing.

Tonight’s overnight stop is in Cowes. Nestled on Phillip Island, Cowes is a relaxing bayside town.

Day-06-Orbost-to-Phillip-Island Ride Australia’s Southeast – 16 November 2026 – 15 Days

Day 07: Sunday, 22 November 2026 – Phillip Island, Vic to Apollo Bay, Vic.

Riding: 290 Kilometres / 189 Miles (includes one ferry crossing) – 5 hours 36 minutes riding plus stops.

Included Meals: Breakfast

Kickstands up at 7:30 am. After breakfast, we leave Cowes and ride to Sorrento Pier, where the ferry crossing makes this trip not just a ROAD trip. We enjoy a 40-minute voyage across Port Phillip Bay to Queenscliff.

After reaching Queenscliff, we hit the road and head for Torquay for lunch. We visit the Australian National Surfing Museum, a tribute to the nation’s surfing culture.

We stop at Winki Pop to check out Bells Beach, renowned among surfers worldwide and made even more famous as the location of the final scene of the original Point Break movie.

We are on the Great Ocean Road, stopping and stretching at The Memorial Arch at Eastern View. Here, we will learn the backstory of the Great Ocean Road. What comes next is the most scenic part of the Great Ocean Road, as we savour this stretch to our overnight stop, the coastal town of Apollo Bay, with its stunning ocean views.

Day-07-Phillip-Island-to-Apollo-Bay Ride Australia’s Southeast – 16 November 2026 – 15 Days

Day 08: Monday, 23 November 2026 – Apollo Bay, Vic to Warrnambool, Vic.

Riding: 179 Kilometres | 111 Miles – 2 hours 46 minutes plus stops.

Included Meals: Breakfast and Dinner.

Kickstands up at 8:00 am. Today, we ride more of the Great Ocean Road, starting in the coastal haven of Apollo Bay. This section of the road gives us a change of scenery as we ride through forests to some of Australia’s most spectacular natural wonders. The 12 Apostles stand tall, their limestone stacks emerging from the Southern Ocean, a breathtaking sight that captures the imagination.

We then experience the 12 Apostles from an aerial perspective, flying above them for 25 minutes in helicopters. Loch Ard Gorge holds the tragic story that gave the gorge its name whcih we will discover tonight.

As the ride continues, Port Campbell is our lunch stop. After lunch, we continue on the Great Ocean Road to view the dramatic formations of London Bridge and the Bay of Martyrs. Each twist and turn of the road reveals a new aspect of this rugged coastal landscape.

Warrnambool is our final stop for today, and we will visit the historic Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village. The evening show brings the past to life through captivating tales as we walk through the reconstructed village. A visual journey through Australia’s history explains how dangerous ship voyages along this coastline were, including those of the Loch Ard.

Day-08-Apollo-Bay-to-Warrnambool-1 Ride Australia’s Southeast – 16 November 2026 – 15 Days

Day 09: Tuesday, 24 November 2026 – Warrnambool, Vic to Echuca, Vic.

Riding: 396 Kilometres / 246 Miles – 4 hours 50 minutes plus stops.

Kickstands up at 8:00 am. Today, we cruise north and leave the coast behind. Our journey takes us to Sovereign Hill, an immersive living history museum that transports us back to the Australian gold rush era. Wander along the charming streets, interact with costumed characters, and witness traditional crafts and trade demonstrations.

From Sovereign Hill, we adventure through the heart of the State of Victoria as we ride to the Town of Echuca, where we rest for the night. This iconic town along the Murray River invites you to step back in time with its well-preserved paddle steamers and historic river port. We will spend part of tomorrow exploring Echuca and the surrounding area.

Day-09-Warrnambool-to-Echuca Ride Australia’s Southeast – 16 November 2026 – 15 Days

Day 10: Wednesday, 25 November 2026 – A Day in Echuca, Vic and the Local Area.

Riding: No Riding today.

Our bikes are parked for the day today so we can explore the delights of Echuca, a journey into the charm of a bygone era blended seamlessly with the vibrancy of a modern riverside town. As we explore Echuca, we’ll immerse ourselves in a delightful tapestry of history, culture, and scenic beauty. We’ll stroll along the historic port area, where beautifully preserved paddle-steamers and modern houseboats line the banks of the Murray River. These majestic vessels, a testament to Echuca’s pivotal role in the river trade during the 19th century, offer a glimpse into the region’s rich maritime heritage. Indulge your senses at the local markets, where fresh produce, handmade crafts, and regional specialities showcase the best of Echuca’s offerings. The town’s charming streets, adorned with historic architecture and unique boutiques, invite leisurely walks, allowing you to soak in the laid-back atmosphere.

A visit to Echuca wouldn’t be complete without a relaxing cruise along the Murray River on one of the iconic paddle-steamers. We drift along the river, taking in the serene surroundings and enjoying the gentle rhythm of the river with the sounds of the steam engine. Echuca is a quiet town at night, with the soft glow of streetlights reflecting on its historic facades, creating a warm, welcoming ambience.

Pevensey-scaled Ride Australia’s Southeast – 16 November 2026 – 15 Days

Day 11: Thursday, 26 November 2026 – Echuca, Vic to Albury, NSW.

Riding: 295 Kilometres / 183 Miles – 3 hours 37 minutes riding plus stops.

Kickstands up at 8:30 am. After a day experiencing life in the historic riverport town of Echuca, we explore another part of Australian history as we ride to Glenrowan to learn about the legendary bushranger Ned Kelly, delving into the captivating tales of this iconic Australian outlaw. The region’s historical resonance sets the stage for a ride that seamlessly blends history and adventure.

The road to Glenrowan offers views of the Australian countryside, inviting you to experience the freedom of the open road.

Having experienced the history, we now go to the imaginary, the Ettamogah Pub, a uniquely Australian establishment known for its whimsical architecture and laid-back atmosphere. It’s a perfect spot for a refreshing break.

We head to Albury for our overnight accommodation. This border town seamlessly connects the States of New South Wales and Victoria, blending modern amenities with historical charm.

Day-11-Echuca-to-Albury Ride Australia’s Southeast – 16 November 2026 – 15 Days

Day 12: Friday, 27 November 2026 – Albury, NSW to Jindabyne, NSW.

Riding: 2687 Kilometres / 167 Miles – 3 hours 46 minutes riding post stops.

Included Meals: Breakfast and Dinner.

Kickstands up at 8:00. After breakfast, we ride to the Australian Snowy Mountains. Our first stop is visiting the Man from Snowy River Museum in Corryong, where the legends of the iconic Australian poem come to life. You may have even seen the movie. ‘The Man from Snowy River’.

We continue into the mountains through the picturesque landscapes to Khancoban. We will have a stop n’ stretch here.

Afterwards, we’ll stop at the Murray 1 Power Station Lookout, part of the Snowy Mountain Hydro Electric Scheme. Unfortunately, we cannot visit, but you will get an idea of what this project does.

We have entered the Kosciuszko National Park, stopping at Scammells Ridge Lookout to see the beauty of the Snowy Mountains, a scenic spectacle that opens before us. We are in the mountains, so the ride will be narrow and twisty.

When we reach the other side of the Kosciuszko National Park, will be staying in Jindabyne,

Day-12-Albury-to-Jindabyne Ride Australia’s Southeast – 16 November 2026 – 15 Days

Day 13: Saturday, 28 November 2026 – Jindabyne, NSW to Goulburn, NSW.

Riding: 273 Kilometres / 170 Miles – 3 hours 18 minutes riding plus stops.

Kickstands up at 8:00 am. This morning, we leave the alpine region and ride towards the Nation’s Capital, Canberra, ACT. Our first stop is the Snowy Hydro Discovery Centre in Cooma, where we will learn more about the Snowy Mountain Scheme, Australia’s largest hydroelectric scheme. We continue to Australia’s National Capital to visit Canberra Harley Davidson, then on to Mount Ainslie Lookout. This lookout offers panoramic views of Australia’s capital city as it unfolds before us, perfectly blending well-planned urban and natural beauty.

Leaving the capital behind, we have a stop to visit an iconic Australian landmark that is a testament to the country’s wool industry, The Big Merino. A unique photo opportunity awaits as you capture the spirit of this colossal sheep.

From the Big Merino it is a very short trip to our accommodation here in Goulburn.

Day-13-Jindabyne-to-Goulburn Ride Australia’s Southeast – 16 November 2026 – 15 Days

Day 14: Sunday, 29 November 2026 – Goulburn, NSW to Bathurst, NSW.

Riding: 349 Kilometres / 217 Miles – 4 hours 45 minutes riding plus stops

Kickstands up at 8:00 am. We leave Goulburn; our first stop is the historic gold-rush town of Hill End. To get here, we traverse the winding roads, and the echoes of the past become palpable, adding a touch of nostalgia to our ride.

On our return leg, we ride to Sofala, a charming village frozen in time. Quaint streets and historic buildings characterise this gold rush gem, offering a delightful glimpse into Australia’s history. The museum is best described as interesting.

As we ride to our overnight stop in Bathurst, the road rolls out like a ribbon, inviting you to relish the joy of open country roads.

Day-14-Goulburn-to-Bathurst Ride Australia’s Southeast – 16 November 2026 – 15 Days

Day 15: Monday, 30 November 2026 – Bathurst, NSW to Sydney, NSW.

Riding: 194 Kilometres / 121 Miles – 3 hours 30 mins riding plus stops.

Before leaving Bathurst, the city of motorsports, behind, today’s ride starts with a ride on the Mt Panorama Road. This road was built in the thirties as a scenic route, but there was an underlying intention to turn it into a racetrack.

A stop in Katoomba to visit the 3 Sisters adds the perfect touch to our last day on the road. With amazing views across the valley.

Upon arriving in Sydney, we return the motorcycles to the rental depots.

From here, we’ll head to our last night’s accommodation and our Farewell Dinner.

Tonight will be the time to relive our days on the road and reminisce about our experiences together.

Damage Deposit | Security Bond

A per-bike damage deposit of AUD $2,500 is required at the time of pick-up for each rental. The amount is determined by the model of Motorcycle you are renting. The rental company will take this deposit in the form of a pre-authorisation on the tour participant’s credit card. This is not a charge, merely a pre-authorisation. When the bike is returned with no damage, the pre-authorisation will be released.

Terms and Conditions – Freedom Biker Tours

Airfare to/from Australia is NOT included in the Tour program pricing.

It is the responsibility of the Tour participant to organise their own air travel arrangements.

Waivers and Releases MUST be signed upon arrival in Australia, or the participant will not be permitted to participate in the Tour.

A Valid Motorcycle Rider’s License acceptable in Australia is required to participate in this Tour.

A minimum of 1 year riding a cruiser-style or adventure-style motorcycle is required.

Ensure your helmet is approved for use in Australia. Helmets are available from the motorcycle rental company.

This tour involves roads with twists and turns, so riders must be confident on them. Please note that none of the roads are unpaved.

A passion for riding, fun, and adventure is required to participate in this Tour.

Ride deep into the heart of America’s northern frontier on this 1,150-mile journey from Fargo, North Dakota, to Billings, Montana. The Great Plains Sweep follows quiet prairie highways, historic river valleys, and rolling high plains through authentic ranching country where the pace is relaxed, and the horizons stretch forever.

This self-guided ride blends scenic open-road touring with powerful history — from Native American cultural sites and frontier forts to the dramatic badlands of Theodore Roosevelt National Park and the moving ground of the Little Bighorn Battlefield. Along the way, you’ll experience genuine western towns, wildlife-filled landscapes, and some of the most underrated motorcycle roads in the United States.

With moderate daily distances and plenty of time to explore, The Great Plains Sweep is perfect for riders who enjoy big skies, quiet roads, and discovering the real American West beyond the usual tourist routes.

Itinerary:

Day 1 Fargo to Bismarck (185 miles)
Pick up bikes in Fargo and head west on I-94 before dropping south onto ND-6 through the Sheyenne River Valley. Stop at Fort Ransom State Park, a beautifully preserved glacial valley with a history of Norwegian settlers. Roll into Bismarck via the Missouri River bridge for a striking arrival.

Key Stops:

Fort Ransom State Park — glacial valley, Norse heritage, quiet back roads
Cross the Missouri River at Bismarck — stop at the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center
On-A-Slant Indian Village (Mandan earth-lodge reconstructions)

Overnight: C’mon Inn Grand Hotel & Suites, Bismarck or similar

Day 2 Bismarck to Medora and Theodore Roosevelt NP (135 miles)
West on I-94, but break off at Mandan and ride ND-6 south through classic western North Dakota. Enter the South Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park for some of the finest motorcycle roads in the Dakotas — painted badlands, free-ranging bison, and wild horses.

Key Stops:

Knife River Indian Villages NHS — original Hidatsa village site, one of Lewis & Clark’s key stops
Theodore Roosevelt NP South Unit Scenic Loop — 21-mile paved loop through badlands and grasslands
Medora town — a genuine western gem, evening Medora Musical outdoor show

Overnight: Rough Riders Hotel, Medora or similar.

Day 3 Medora to Miles City, MT (180 miles)
Cross into Montana on US-12, one of the great unsung touring roads of the American West. The highway follows the Yellowstone River through wide cattle country. Miles City is a working Cowtown with genuine western character — no tourist polish here.

Key Stops:

Wibaux, MT — a tiny town with a remarkable cowboy museum and the Pierre Wibaux story
Fallon County Fair Grounds — if timing aligns (late August), authentic ranch rodeo
Range Riders Museum, Miles City — one of the best genuine ranching history museums in Montana

Overnight: Historic Olive Hotel, Miles City or similar

Day 4 Miles City to Little Bighorn then Hardin (95 miles)
Ride south on US-212 — the same road Custer’s 7th Cavalry marched along in 1876. The Little Bighorn Battlefield is a profoundly moving place. Spend at least two hours here. The Crow and Lakota perspectives are presented honestly and powerfully.

Key Stops:

Little Bighorn Battlefield NM — walk the Last Stand Hill, visit the Indian Memorial, and take a ranger talk
Hardin, MT — a small city on the Bighorn River with a strong agricultural identity

Overnight: Lariat Country Inn, Hardin or similar

Day 5 Hardin to Bighorn Canyon and Pryor Mountains (120 miles loop)
A short but spectacular day in the saddle. Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area is almost unknown outside the region, with dramatic canyon walls rising 1,000 feet from the lake below. The Pryor Mountains road to the south gives views into Wyoming and is wild horse territory.

Key Stops:

Bighorn Canyon NRA — Devil Canyon Overlook is the unmissable stop
Pryor Mountain Wild Horse Range — one of the very few places in the West with free-roaming mustangs
Chief Plenty Coups State Park, Pryor — the last chief of the Crow Nation, a remarkably preserved homestead

Overnight: Lariat Country Inn, Hardin or similar

Day 6 Hardin to Billings and City Exploration (60 miles)

Easy ride into Billings along the Yellowstone River. Billings is Montana’s largest city but feels like a proper western town. The Rimrocks — sandstone cliffs rising above the city — are one of Montana’s most distinctive cityscapes. Afternoon for Billings’ excellent local food and culture scene.

Key Stops:

Pictograph Cave State Park — 10,000-year-old Native American rock art, extraordinary and often overlooked
Moss Mansion, Billings — 1903 estate, a window into cattle baron wealth
Billings Brew Trail — a string of solid craft breweries in the walkable downtown

Day 7 Billings – Departure Day

Day 1: Arrival in Leh – Leh Altitude: 3,500 m
Touch down in Leh, where adventure awaits at 11,500 ft! Our team will be at the airport, ready to take you to your hotel(For group arrivals). After check-in, take a day to acclimatise—hydrate with 3.5 litres of water, and keep movement to a minimum as you rest up. Come evening, we’ll gather for a briefing, followed by a hearty dinner. Tonight, stay in Leh City as you gear up for the journey.
Precautions: Avoid alcohol and smoking today, no exploration, stay in and relax. Report any signs of AMS (Nausea, headache, vomiting) to the team.

Day 2: Leh Local -Leh Altitude: 3,500 m
The sun rises over Leh, casting golden light on the peaks as you ease into the day’s ride. Your motorcycle waits to take you through Leh’s gems without overexertion before the long journeys ahead. First is the Indus–Zanskar Confluence, where emerald and brown waters merge in a slow, majestic swirl framed by cliffs. Next, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib offers warmth and peace in the crisp mountain air. Then comes Magnetic Hill, where your motorcycle seems to roll uphill on its own — a moment that feels equal parts science and magic.

By late afternoon, you’re back in Leh, free to explore the market and visit Shanti
Stupa before tomorrow’s ride to Khardung La, gateway to Nubra Valley.

The tarmac winds upward in a slow, thrilling dance between rider and mountain until, at 5,359m (17,582 ft), you stand amid snapping prayer flags and icy winds, feeling the triumph of reaching this legendary pass. The descent reveals a new world as barren slopes give way to Nubra Valley’s greenery and sweeping dunes, with a stop at Diskit Monastery and its towering Maitreya Buddha watching over the land.
By evening in Hunder, you spot the rare double-humped Bactrian camels before settling in for the night, thoughts already on tomorrow’s ride to Pangong Lake.

The ride cuts through a vast high-altitude desert, where the road blends into the sky and the mountains rise like frozen waves. Breathing grows harder as you climb, each twist of the throttle pushing both rider and machine into the thin air. The final ascent is narrow and windswept until the bright yellow signboard appears, surrounded by fluttering prayer flags — you’ve reached the top of the world, higher than Everest Base Camp.
The return to Hanle is calmer, the same landscape now carrying the weight of your achievement, ending with another night under Hanle’s impossibly starry sky.

Welcome to Sydney. Ride The World Motorcycle Tours crew will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. It’s been a long flight, so today is a rest day.

Tomorrow, we will do some exploring of Sydney.

Day 02: Sunday, 8 November 2026 – Adventures in Sydney, NSW.

Included Meals: Breakfast and Dinner.

After breakfast, we will explore the city of Sydney. You may wish to do the Sydney Bridge Climb as an optional tour tour, just let us know and we will book it for you. It is an incredible way to see and experience the views of Sydney and the harbour area.

We’ll do a walking to the historic ‘The Rocks’ area of Sydney and around Circular Quay to the world-famous Sydney Opera House.

In the late afternoon, we will enjoy a Sydney Harbour Cruise with dinner during which we will review the days ahead, have a safety briefing, sign waivers, etc. Have your questions ready.

Day 03: Monday, 9 November 2026 – Sydney, NSW to Newcastle, NSW.

Riding: 253 Kilometres | 158 Miles – 3 hours 30 minutes riding plus stops.

After breakfast, we transfer to pick up our motorcycles and embark on our exhilarating motorcycle tour.

Our first day on the road after going to collect the motorcycle you have chosen. Today is a celebration of twisty tarmac and Australian wildlife.

We begin by riding by Windsor, a historic town then easing into the open roads before turning up the adrenaline on the legendary Putty Road — a motorcyclist’s paradise known for its sweeping curves, rugged bushland, and exhilarating ride. We will be taking it easy as this is your first day riding. Our first stop: the famous Grey Gums Café, a rider’s refuge where you can grab a coffee, share your experienes, and take in the fresh mountain air.

From the Grey Gums Café, the road opens up then there are tight curves as we ride northeast toward Hunter Valley Wildlife Park, where kangaroos, koalas, and camels (yes, camels!) await. Stretch your legs and snap a few photos as you wander the grounds, soaking in the wild spirit of regional NSW.

The day concludes with a well-earned rest and a hearty meal at the Sir Francis Drake Inn in Heatherbrae, a classic stop with character and comfort — perfect for recapping the day’s ride over a cold drink with your new riding friends.

Day 04: Tuesday, 10 November 2026 – Newcastle, NSW to Port Macquarie, NSW.

Riding: 267 Kilometres | 166 Miles – 3 hours 35 minutes riding plus stops.

Included Meals: Breakfast.

After a hearty breakfast a 9:00 am start for a day of stunning scenery, aviation history, winding mountain passes, and two-wheeled nostalgia.

Our first stop is just a short ride away at Fighter World, Williamtown — a hands-on aviation museum where you can get up close to classic RAAF (Royal Australian Airforce) fighter jets and even sit in the cockpit of a Mirage. A perfect warm-up for what’s to come.

From there, the ride gets interesting as we carve through the legendary curves of Wootton Way — an old section of the Pacific Highway reborn as a motorcyclist’s dream. With tight turns, lush greenery, and little traffic, it’s a hidden gem that captures the thrill of the open road. But beware of the leaf litter which is sometimes on the road.

Next, we arrive at a bucket-list stop for any bike enthusiast: the National Motorcycle Museum in Nabiac. Housing hundreds of classic bikes, memorabilia, and rare machines, it’s a paradise of chrome, leather, nostalgia and maybe a little rust.

We return to our motorcycles and continue heading north. We make a scenic detour to North Brother Lookout, where sweeping panoramic views of the Camden Haven coast which is part of the Pacific Coast offers great views and a perfect photo op.

The day ends with a relaxed roll into Port Macquarie, where coastal breezes, great food choices and comfortable accommodation welcome us after an unforgettable ride. Kick off the boots, share a story or two, and rest up — tomorrow’s road awaits.

Day 05: Wednesday, 11 November 2026 – Port Macquarie, NSW to Tamworth, NSW.

Riding: 315 Kilometres | 194 Miles – 3 hours 48 minutes riding plus stops.

Departing the coastal charm of Port Macquarie, today’s ride is all about elevation, exhilaration, and epic tales from Australia’s wild frontier. With the engines fire up, we head inland on the renowned Oxley Highway — one of the most celebrated motorcycle roads in the country.

With over 300 corners in 150 km, the Oxley takes us from rainforest twists to rolling high-country plains, making it a pure rider’s delight. The journey climbs onto the New England Tablelands, where cooler air and wide open skies greet us in Walcha, a quaint town known for its sculptures and rural charm but we visit a hidden waterfall before town.

Continuing on to Uralla, we step into the boots of bushranger folklore as we explore the history of Captain Thunderbolt — the gentleman outlaw who once ruled these roads. We will visit Thunderbolt’s statue and learn about his hideouts and daring escapes. It’s the perfect blend of grit and legend to pair with your ride.

From Uralla, we ride south and onto Australia’s country music capital — Tamworth — where we’ll spend the night. But before stopping for the night, three iconic stops await:

The Powerhouse Motorcycle Museum, packed with part of one man’s collection of pristine vintage bikes that stir up nostalgia and admiration.
The towering Big Golden Guitar, a must-see Aussie roadside icon that celebrates Tamworth’s musical soul.

Leaving the rhythm of Tamworth behind, our engines roar to life once more as we begin another unforgettable leg of the journey — a ride that celebrates small-town charm, classic machines, and one of NSW’s most scenic hidden highways.

Our first stop is Werris Creek, Australia’s first railway town, where the spirit of working-class heritage runs deep. A short ride from there brings us to the quirky and delightful Bob’s Shed — a living museum packed with vintage cars, memorabilia, and nostalgic treasures. It’s the kind of place where you’ll smile at every turn, with stories stitched into every tin sign and chrome bumper.

From roadside memories to aerial might, we continue on to Scone, home of Hunter Warbirds Aviation Museum. Here, legendary aircraft are lovingly restored and displayed, capturing the daring spirit of pilots past. The collection is a nod to Australia’s aviation history — a perfect contrast to our two-wheeled journey.

The final stretch is nothing short of breathtaking as we hit the Bylong Valley Way — a secluded, winding ribbon of bitumen that weaves through forested hills, sandstone cliffs, and wide open farmland. It’s pure riding bliss, the kind of road that feels made just for motorcycles.

We end the day in iconic Bathurst, where motorsport heritage runs through the veins of the town. Whether you’re riding into the sunset or just eyeing up Mount Panorama from a distance, there’s no better place to unwind, reflect, and prepare for the next chapter of this incredible November ride.

Day 07: Friday, 13 November 2026 – Bathurst, NSW to Sydney, NSW.

Riding: 223 Kilometres | 140 Miles – 3 hours 25 minutes riding plus stops.

The final day of our epic November motorcycle tour begins in Bathurst, where racing legends are made and the throttle hand feels just a little heavier. But today’s ride isn’t about speed — it’s about soaking in the last spectacular miles of New South Wales’s countryside.

We wind out of Bathurst through the charming hamlet of Tarana, where the roads tighten and the scenery begins to shift. As we join the Great Western Highway, the Blue Mountains rise before us, we cruise toward one of Australia’s most iconic natural landmarks: The Three Sisters in Katoomba. With a short break to take in the views, it’s a fitting reminder of the raw beauty we’ve been riding through all week.

From here, we retrace our route to join to ride to Bell along the ridge through Bell and onto the famed Bells Line of Road, a motorcyclist’s dream full of sweeping corners and stunning mountain vistas. A relaxing stop in Bilpin, famous for its fresh apple pie and mountain air, gives us one last taste of the countryside before the final leg.

The journey comes full circle as we return the bikes to the rental location, where it all began. But the experience isn’t quite over yet.

We pay one last visit — a Harley-Davidson dealership, where chrome dreams and tour souvenirs await. Whether you’re picking up a memento or just admiring the iron on display, it’s the perfect to our days of two-wheeled freedom.

Finally, we head to our accommodation near Sydney Airport, where a warm shower, a cold drink, and a heartfelt farewell dinner await. We share laughs, photos, and stories of wild roads and unforgettable moments — a celebration of the friendships forged and the adventure that brought us all together.

Step #2: Once we have contacted you, we can start booking. The motorcycle rental contract, though booked through Ride The World Motorcycle Tours, is exclusively between the Tour Participant (renter) and the rental company. Ride The World Motorcycle Tours assume no liability.

The Motorcycle rental includes a choice of a Harley-Davidson touring model, or a BMW GS Model, so book early to ensure your preferred model as all are subject to availability at the time of reservation.

Harley-Davidson motorcycles come with Windscreen or Fairing, Rider Floorboards and Passenger Floorboards or Pegs, Saddle Bags, and Passenger Backrest.

BMW Motorcycles come with Windscreen or Fairing, Rider and Passenger Foot Pegs, Saddle Bags, and Passenger Backrest if the optional Top Box is added by the renter.

Some Ancillary options and Accessories are available depending on the model of the Motorcycle and are subject to availability.

Damage Deposit | Security Bond

A per bike damage deposit of AUD2,500.00 is required for each rental at the time of pick-up. The amount is determined by the model of Motorcycle you are renting. The rental company will take this deposit in the form of a pre-authorization on the tour participant’s credit card. This is not a charge, merely a pre-authorization. When the bike is returned with no damage, the pre-authorization will be released.

After breakfast, start ride towards the Ooty, a stunning hill station, also known as the Queen of Hills. Famous for its lush tea plantations and breathtaking landscapes, Ooty offers a cool retreat nestled at an elevation of 2240 meters, where the Western and Eastern Ghats meet.
Begin your ride by descending the scenic and thrilling 70 hairpin bends from Kolli Hills, heading towards Namakkal. We’ll ride along some of the most picturesque backroads of Southern India, passing through peaceful villages and dense forests. This off-the-beaten-path route gives you a chance to experience the real beauty of the region.
After the scenic ride, we’ll start our climb up to Ooty, navigating another set of 30 hairpin curves. The roads here offer mesmerizing views as you ascend into the Nilgiri Hills. On arrival in Ooty, check in hotel & relax.

Day 6 : Ooty to Masinagudi (40 Km / 2-3 Hrs Ride)

After a thrilling exploration of Ooty, the Queen of Hills, we saddle up our Royal Enfields for a captivating journey toward Masinagudi, located deep within the heart of the Mudumalai Tiger Reserve. This is a day to ride through some of the most mesmerizing landscapes in Southern India—an experience made even more special with the power and agility of your Royal Enfield.
Today enjoy a leisurely ride as we descend through scenic tea plantations and lush landscapes of Southern India. The route today is relatively easy, offering you a smooth ride with breathtaking views & you’ll experience some of the most beautiful landscapes in the region, surrounded by dense forests and hills. Day 7 : Masinagudi to Coorg (Virajpet) (220 Km / 5 Hrs Ride)

After experiencing the raw beauty and wild charm of two major tiger reserves, today’s ride will immerse you in a true Royal Enfield adventure! We’re heading towards Coorg, often called the Scotland of India, on a ride that promises not just scenic beauty, but an unforgettable experience through five tiger reserves and three Southern Indian states. This is not just a ride; it’s a journey through the heart of India’s wilderness, riding through dense forests, national parks, and untouched roads. After breakfast start your day with an exciting ride from Masinagudi, making your way through the majestic Madumalai Tiger Reserve. This area is a wildlife haven, and the road will be your gateway to the untamed forests. From Madumalai, we’ll head towards Bandipur Tiger Reserve, one of India’s oldest and most renowned national parks. The journey continues as we cross into Karnataka and ride through Muthanga Tiger Reserve, Wayanad Tiger Reserve, and Tholpetty Tiger Reserve, which is also part of Wayanad. That’s right – today’s route will take you through five tiger reserves and three states – Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Kerala. After breakfast start ride from Virajpet to the stunning Bababudangiri Hills, covering 240 Km through the lush Western Ghats.
