Day 1: Friday 18 June 2027 – Calgary, AB

Included Meals: Dinner

If flying to Calgary, take the complimentary shuttle from the airport to the hotel. Connect with Freedom Biker Tours. Those renting from Calgary Harley Davidson, located across the street from the hotel, will walk to the dealership, and those renting from Canadian Motorcycle Rentals will transfer to pick up from Motorcycle Rentals.
Following our return to the hotel this evening, we will have a Welcome Dinner, Orientation and Safety Briefing
hosted by Freedom Biker Tours.

Day 2: Saturday 19 June 2027 – Cowboy Trail, Longview, Highwood Pass and Banff

Riding: 301 Kilometres | 187 Miles

Kickstands up at 9:30 am. It’s time to get outta’ Dodge and hit the road. We’ll mount up and head southwest on the Cowboy Trail, eventually cruising south to Longview, where we will have a stop n’ stretch and a snack at the biker-friendly Twin Cities Saloon. It gets really interesting from here as we ride northwest into the Rocky Mountains and Kananaskis Country. We’ll cruise the Highwood Pass, the highest paved road in Canada, which is closed half the year. We’ll enjoy the majestic mountain scenery and hopefully see some wildlife, preferably on the roadside. We’ll eventually pop out onto the Trans Canada Highway as we ride a short distance into world-famous Banff, where we relax and enjoy for the next 2 nights.

Day 3: Sunday 22 August 2027 – Banff Gondola and a day in Banff

Riding: A Day Off the Bikes

Included Meals: N/A

Breakfast is on your own this morning. We’ll meet in the hotel lobby at a specified time, and we’ll head over to the launching area of the Banff Gondola. We’ll board the Gondola cars and ride high up to the summit of Sulphur Mountain, where we’ll be amazed at the views of six surrounding mountain ranges, the Bow Valley, and the Town of Banff. Enjoy the Banff Interpretive Centre and learn about the history and other interesting facts of Canada’s first National Park. There is a Starbucks at the Gondola base and a café at the top for those who didn’t have anything at the hotel. After our mountaintop experience, we’ll head back down to the Gondola base and back to the Town of Banff for a leisurely time around the area and a photo op at the Banff sign. Afterwards, the rest of the day is yours to wander the town of Banff and relax. Dinner is on our own tonight with plenty of options to choose from.

Day 4: Monday 21 June 2027 – Bow Valley Parkway, Icefields Parkway and Jasper

Riding: 293 Kilometres | 182 Miles

Kickstands up at 08:30. Today we ride along the scenic Bow Valley Parkway, enjoying the majestic scenery as we eventually connect with the Icefields Parkway heading north towards Jasper. Along the way, we’ll stop for a photo op at Bow Lake and then continue riding north along the parkway. We’ll stop at the Columbia Icefields and enjoy the Icefields Explorer Adventure; a unique and iconic experience as we step out onto the Athabasca Glacier. You may want to have a Glacial Facial. Our ride then takes us further north along the Parkway and into the world-famous town of Jasper, where we’ll stop for the night. Dinner is on our own tonight with plenty of options to choose from.

Day 5: Tuesday 22 June 2027 – Wells Gray Provincial Park, Helmcken Falls and Clearwater

Riding: 400 Kilometres | 249 Miles

Kickstands up at 08:30. This morning we ride southwest into British Columbia through the towns of Valemount and Blue River and into Wells Gray Provincial Park. An area famous for adventure enthusiasts. On the way, we’ll stop in Valemount for a stretch and some Timmy’s, and then in Blue River for lunch at the Grizzly Shack. Continuing southwest to the town of Clearwater, as we arrive, we’ll turn right and head into Wells Gray Provincial Park and enjoy the scenery as we ride the twists and turns of the park road to arrive at and view the
majestic Helmcken Falls, the fourth tallest waterfall in Canada. We’ll double back to the town of Clearwater and check in to our hotel, where we’ll rest for the night. Dinner tonight is at the delicious Hop n’ Hog Tap & Smokehouse.

Day-5-Wells-Gray-Provincial-Park-Helmcken-Falls-Clearwater Ride The Canadian Rockies and Best of BC – 13 Days – 18 June 2027

Day 6: Wednesday 23 June 2027 – Kamloops, Thompson River Valley, Cache Creek and Duffy Lake Road to Whistler

Riding: 440 Kilometres | 274 Miles

Kickstands up at 08:00. Today we ride south through the town of Little Fort and onward to Kamloops, where we intercept the Trans Canada Highway past Kamloops and southwest to the town of Cache Creek, where we’ll stop for lunch at the best taco stand. From there, we’ll ride to Lillooet, where we’ll make a quick stop to stretch and refuel before tackling the famous Duffy Lake Road en enroute to Whistler, stopping along the way for photo ops and to take in the beautiful scenery. We emerge from the Duffy Lake Road riding into the town of Pemberton, where we turn south and cruise along Highway #99, the Sea-to-Sky Highway, into the mountain town of Whistler, where we’ll rest for the night. Dinner is on our own tonight with lots of fun places to visit and eat in Whistler Village.

Day-6-Kamloops-Thompson-River-Valley-Cache-Creek-Duffy-Lake-Road-to-Whistler Ride The Canadian Rockies and Best of BC – 13 Days – 18 June 2027

Day 7: Thursday 24 June 2027 – Sea to Sky, Grouse Mountain, the Peak of Vancouver

Riding: 252 Kilometres / 157 Miles

Kickstands up at 09:00. This morning we ride south along the Sea-To-Sky Highway with Howe Sound over our right shoulder. We’ll cruise through the Hamlet of Britannia Beach and pass by the town of Horseshoe Bay, and we’ll intercept Highway #1, the Trans Canada. We’ll skirt around the edges of the Lower Mainland, passing through the City of North Vancouver.

We’ll stop for an amazing experience at the Peak of Vancouver as we ride the Grouse Mountain Gondola high above the Lower Mainland, with views of Vancouver, the Pacific Ocean, and the Strait of Georgia. On a clear day, you can see Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands, and perhaps even the northern tip of Washington State.
While up at the top, we can have a snack and walk around for a while. Lots to do up Grouse Mountain, including the Wildlife Refuge with their in-house Grizzly Bears ‘Grinder’ and ‘Coola’. There are food options for lunch, and then there is just taking in the fresh air and amazing views.

After downloading, we’ll continue riding east through part of the City of Vancouver and into the Fraser Valley countryside. Our destination for tonight is the resort town of Harrison Hot Springs. Dinner is on our own tonight, but we recommend the Black Forest Restaurant, where you can enjoy Bavarian food and, of course, legendary German beer and wine.

Day-7-Sea-to-Sky-Grouse-Mountain-the-Peak-of-Vancouver Ride The Canadian Rockies and Best of BC – 13 Days – 18 June 2027

Day 8: Friday 25 June 2027 – Fraser Canyon, Nicola Valley, Similkameen Valley and the Okanagan Valley

Riding: 517 Kilometres / 321 Miles

Included Meals: Breakfast and Dinner.

Kickstands up at 08:00 sharp! A good day of riding Today. Longest of the tour. We’ll cruise along Highway #7 and then turn north and ride the twists and turns of the Fraser Canyon high above the mighty Fraser River. At the town of Spences Bridge, we’ll leave the Trans Canada Highway and turn east, riding on Highway #8 into the town of Merritt in the Nicola Valley.

From Merritt, we’ll ride the scenic and fun Highway #5A to the town of Princeton in the Similkameen Valley. We’ll have a stop n’ stretch and a snack in Princeton before continuing along Highway #3 along the Similkameen River, passing through the small, old historic mining town of Hedley and on into the town of Keremeos and on through the Richter Pass and down into the town of Osoyoos at the southern end of the Okanagan Valley. Osoyoos is a major border crossing with Washington State. Lake Osoyoos is the warmest body of freshwater in Canada and is split between the USA and Canada.
From Osoyoos, we’ll ride north along Highway #97 past vineyards and fruit stands until we reach the small city of Penticton at the southern end of Lake Okanagan. We’ll be staying in Penticton for three nights at a lakeside resort hotel with its own beach. After a long day of riding, dinner tonight is pizza and refreshments, sitting lakeside on the deck of the Barking Parrot Bar and watching the sunset over the lake and the surrounding hills.

Day 9: Saturday 26 June 2027 – A Morning in Penticton & Afternoon Wine Tour

Riding: Bikes are Parked Today

Included Meals: Lunch (Charcuterie during Wine Tour)

We get to sleep in a little bit, and breakfast is on your own this morning. A day off the bikes today to enjoy summertime in the South Okanagan. Across the street from the hotel is the Penticton Open-Air Community Market and Farmer’s Market, open from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm. The largest open-air community market in the Okanagan. We encourage you to stroll through the market, engage the vendors, and enjoy some free time. This afternoon, we’ll participate in an Okanagan favourite, a Wine Tour with Grape Savvy Wine Tours that includes lunch. Dinner is on you tonight, with plenty of walking-distance options to choose from.

Day 10: Sunday 27 June 2027 – Rock Creek Loop

Riding: 312 Kilometres | 194 Miles

Kickstands up at 08:30. We’ll ride north along Okanagan Lake to Summerland, Peachland and over the bridge to Kelowna. Through Kelowna, we’ll take Hwy #33 through Rutland, out the northeast side of Kelowna and south down Hwy #33 past the turn-off to Big White Ski Resort, along the minimal traffic twists and turns of the backcountry road all the way to the small Hamlet of Beaverdell, where we will have a stop n’ stretch. We’ll continue south along Hwy #33 to Rock Creek, where we’ll stop for lunch at the Prospector Pub along the Kettle River.
From Rock Creek, we’ll ride Hwy #3 over the Anarchist Summit and down the switchbacks into the Town of Osoyoos, giving you the view and perspective from the east side of the valley. We’ll then continue our way north up Hwy #97 to Penticton, where we’ll stop for our 3rd night at the Lakeside Resort. Dinner is on our own tonight.

Day-10 Ride The Canadian Rockies and Best of BC – 13 Days – 18 June 2027

Day 11: Monday 28 June 2027 – From the Okanagan to the Kootenays

Riding: 494 Kilometres | 307 Miles

Kickstands up 08:00 Sharp! Our second longest riding day today. Today we ride north along Highway #97 through Summerland for a fuel stop, then through Peachland and into West Kelowna, where we divert onto Westside Road along the western side of Lake Okanagan. A much more fun and scenic route as we avoid the lights and traffic in the City of Kelowna. We’ll pop out just north of Vernon and double back slightly through Vernon and intercept Hwy #6, which will take us into the Kootenays through the Monashee Mountains and into the town of Nakusp, where we’ll have a quick stop n’ stretch and a snack. Continuing on Hwy #6 to the Town of New Denver, we’ll stop and discuss the next 50 km stretch of road briefly because Hwy #31A from New Denver to Kaslo is one of the top 10 motorcycle riding roads in Canada. From Kaslo, after a brief stop n’ stretch, we will continue on Hwy #31 along the lake to Nelson, where we will stop and rest for the night. Dinner is on our own tonight.

Day-11-13-day-tour Ride The Canadian Rockies and Best of BC – 13 Days – 18 June 2027

Day 12: Tuesday 29 June 2027 – More of the Kootenays (includes 1 ferry crossing)

Riding: 337 Kilometres | 210 Miles

Kickstands up at 08:30. Today we ride a short distance along the shores of Kootenay Lake to Balfour and catch the Kootenay Lake Ferry for a 35-minute crossing of Kootenay Lake to Crawford Bay. We will disembark and ride south along the eastern shore of Kootenay Lake until we hit the Town of Creston, home of the Columbia Brewing Company, makers of the popular Kokanee Beer. At some point we’ll have a stop n’ stretch. After that, we’ll head east towards the Rocky Mountains, cruising through the City of Cranbrook and on towards our stop for the night at Fairmont Hot Springs. Dinner is on our own tonight with a nice pub and restaurant at the resort.

Day-12.-13-Day Ride The Canadian Rockies and Best of BC – 13 Days – 18 June 2027

Day 13: Wednesday 30 June 2027 – Into the Rockies and Back to Calgary

Riding: 312 Kilometres | 194 Miles

Included Meals: Breakfast and Dinner

Kickstands up at 08:30. Today we ride north into the Rocky Mountains along Highway #93, witnessing some spectacular scenery along the way. As we emerge from Highway #93 we’ll cross over the Trans Canada Highway and pick-up Highway #1A, the scenic twists and turns of the Bow Valley Parkway, but this time we are heading east. We’ll veer off around Banff for a short distance and then pick it up again after Canmore and ride the Bow Valley Parkway all the way back to Calgary, where we’ll drop off any rental motorcycles and
check-in to our hotel for the night.

Tonight, you’re invited to a farewell dinner at Moxie’s Restaurant & Bar, where we can laugh, relax, reminisce, and enjoy fond memories of our experiences from the past week’s ride.
